One Gallon Glass Mason Jar Beverage Dispenser w/Stainless Steel Spigot, Retro Yorkshire Style Jar, Clear Color

We ordered two of these adorable beverage dispensers. As soon as I picked up the box I could hear broken glass. They were packaged separately in their own box in a bubble bag. One was completely intact and fine, the other glass was shattered. When I filled out the return info. It instructed me to mail it back. Just want to double check that you want me to send the broken glass back. We definitely want another one. They are a perfect 1 gallon size for making sun tea.

The lid rusted within the first couple weeks (used for brewing kombucha). Not a little rust, either, this is 3-dimensional heavy flaky black rust... I finally took it off and just use cheesecloth now. As mentioned in other reviews, the spigot is NOT metal, it is silver-colored plastic. Mine is leak-proof after 6 months of continuous use though, so it functions the way I'd hoped.

This is a great jar, however, the packaging does not allow it to arrive in one piece in most cases. I brew kombucha and for that use, I have found this jar is great. However, I have ordered 3 jars and I still only have one of these jars in my house. The first jar was cracked, but still in one piece. Returned it and reordered. The second jar arrived in more than a hundred pieces rattling around in the box.In my experience....the product arrives in two boxes; the outer shipping box is too small and get wrapped around the inner mason jar box. The inner box is thin and tight to the jar so there is no support in shipping.In the event that you are lucky enough to receive one of these jars in one piece, make sure you tighten the seal on the spigot before using. If you do not, it will leak. I cover a wrench with a plastic bag to keep the environment clean for brewing.

Nice, compact container for a frig. Stainless steel spigot of good quality. Remove spigot to remove blue film on washers. Re-install and hand tighten spigot nut or use pliers. Test for leaks with water prior to filling with your favorite beverage. If it leaks tighten a little more. Do not over tighten and break glass. Would have been 5 Stars except hole drilled through the glass for the spigot was roughly drilled and glass is chipped. The spigot covered the chipped area. Overall, very nice. Just ordered a second one.

Nice jar, but spigot is not stainless steel.

I purchased this to use for ladies meetings at church and for family parties. I'm really happy with the quality, and it looks very appealing. The metal spigot was a big selling point for me because a lot of similar ones have a plastic spigot, and those tend to fail or break over time. I expect this to last for years to come.

Beautiful sturdy and works just fine....see, I read the reviews and took advice and checked the spout first! The fixture is very nice and indeed has a removable filter. I am very pleased. It was well packaged, arrived earlier than expected and hand delivered to my door!
