Baby Touch and Feel: Park Board book – November 29, 2010

Love this series! No the touch& feel parts are not huge as sone reviewers complain, but there is good variety and they are sized for baby hands. Our son's favorite are the shiny (and not textured) pages anyway. This is the first book that he could really thumb through on his own as well!! He loves them, so we love them and have purchased a bunch for him. They hold up very well too (much better than some of the other touch-&-feel books that do have larger touch areas).

My 9 month old grandson loves this book. Touch & feel is the great feature and he really looks for the pages he can touch and feel.

Has a good variety of colors and textures....my son really likes this book. I recommend it to anyone shopping for a good touch and feel book.

It's very cute and I wish there was more to feel like bumpy, rough, etc as some are just foil to be "shiny". The bear in the stroller is really soft but you have to really work to feel it! I dunno. Maybe his little fingers will be a lot better at finding it. It's very precious. Glad to have purchased it

This book is consistent with the style and quality of the other books in this series, but I'm a little disappointed in the choice of words in this particular book. There is a flower, butterfly, ball, pinwheel, tricycle, jump rope, ice cream, stroller, kite, duckling, dog, and squirrel. I would have liked to have seen more playground oriented pictures. We have the First Words and Animals books in the series and there is a dog in every single one of them, and a flower, ball, and butterfly in two of them. A little variety would be nice. Also, it could be hard for a baby to tell what a jump rope is by looking at the picture. I'm not sure that she needs to know what a jump rope is at this age anyway. I like this series but this one isn't my favorite.

Cute and durable but the 'feel' parts on each page are tiny and baby doesn't seem to notice them. For example, the only part that is fuzzy on the teddy bear in a stroller page is the seatbelt straps on the bear. Why not make the whole bear fuzzy? Much more interested in other touch & feel books we've purchased like the farm ones with animal fur, etc.

1 and 1/2 yr old grand daughter really likes touch and feel book. This is not her favorite, but she will sit and look through it. She can turn the pages and likes that.
