I internally battled with myself on whether to order a tincture type product. They are the most effective but they also always have alcohol in the ingredients list, which is necessary to get the high quality extract in a tincture. I’m in recovery and was worried I would taste the alcohol -however, I mix this in my coffee and do not taste ANYTHING - all I taste is my coffee! This is a relief and I was scared I’d have to toss it out before even trying it. I love Lions Mane - it gives me noticeable energy and my husband says I’m in a much better mood during the day, lol. I love this high quality extract and it is so much more effective than pills or powder - both of which was what I’d been using before I tried this. I’m never going back to those now!!

Just received today, so I can't speak to the effects of the tincture, as you generally need to take it for several days or weeks. I have taken lionsmane tinctures in the past (homemade, using a similar double-extraction), and this is at least on par with what I can make myself, but saves a lot of effort in processing. As I don't have a distillation process for alcohol reclamation, I can't make my own for this price, so this is a good value.It was well packaged and arrived in good condition.People have commented on the taste. It's doesn't taste great, but it tastes like mushrooms, alcohol and water. So it tastes exactly like you'd expect. A little bitter, but not overly strong.The only drawback for me, the glass dropper was gummed up to the point it didn't draw any fluid. I was able to poke it with a needle and then soak it in hot water, and that cleared it up. This is a common issue with all thicker tinctures, this is not abnormal or indicative of any quality issues. Still, I'll likely be transferring it to a different bottle so I can use a medicine syringe instead, I just find that more convenient. But some sellers of similar products ship with a flat cap on the bottle and the dropper separate to avoid this issue. It would be worth the extra 10-15¢.Overall though, it has met all expectations, and at a very reasonable price.

I started using this Lion's Mane tincture a little over a week ago, and I'm impressed so far!It's a bit on the pricey side for tinctures. The taste isn't amazing, exactly what you'd expect from mushrooms, alcohol, and water – a little bitter. I have tried some others, and this one seems more concentrated and potent.Unlike some other reviews I've seen, I had no problem with my dropper clogging or any sort of issue. It seemed exactly as advertised.Most importantly, I feel like it's actually working! I've noticed I'm sharper in the mornings and my brain feels less foggy. Overall, this could be a great option for anyone looking for a convenient, high-quality Lion's Mane tincture, even if you have a bit of a battle with the taste!

Bought this turkey tail mushroom tinture instead of another I was using. This one is much thicker and even has small chunks. Not sure this is normal or maybe I got a really old bottle. Have shaken many times and seems stuff is caked to inside of bottle. Taste doesn’t bother me as none taste good but have beverages had a tinture with these qualities.

I have mushroom supplements that I take in pill form and I really enjoy those so I thought I’d try this. The taste is not good. I hope the benefits outweigh the taste and that I’ll finish the bottle but I’m not sure yet. After taking it for a couple of days I have felt a clearer head and slightly more energized task that is a plus but I wish a company could find a way to make these liquid mushroom supplements palatable.

The taste is strong but that’s exactly how you know you have a quality product. My dropper works well and the drops are east to use. I’m really hoping to see a big difference in my energy and focus.

Ok, I don’t know about anywhere. I do know I have bought a variety of other brands just to see what else is out there. I have to say there is really no comparison. Hodgins Lions Mane is much stronger and actually is what it says it is. The gelatin based stuff is no good. I just don’t get the same results from them. The other competitors alcohol tinctures are much lighter in color and the smell of alcohol is so strong when you open the bottle. When you take the competitions alcohol based tinctures your stomach and digestion suffers terribly. I have never had that issue with Hodgins Lions Mane. I will never shop around again. I am really grateful that they are so good. With the competition selling garbage, I would have never known what a good product was like if I hadn’t tried their brand.
