Great product.I needed a replacement transformer for my plug and play garden lights which I purchased from B&Q. I wasn't sure if this product would have the correct connection. However i was delighted to find that it was compatible.This company was also very effecient in giving me a refund for a transformer which I ordered but was not powerful enough.Great product, great company.

Works fine and although weather proof you will need to make sure that you have a weather proof power source. Also bought the 3 socket adaptor which is a useful feature.

This is more a additional information than a review since it's a transformer; it either works or it doesn't! I needed a replacement transformer after my B&Q Lights Outdoor kit one died on me. With no indication of which one to use I had to best guess and trust in Amazon's excellent returns' policy (the reason I return to buy from them every time) Fortunately I got it right. This type of transformer I used on the Halogen 10w bulb post lamps. I simply added up all the lamps that came to 40w and choose the 60w transformer to cover that (best to allow a little extra). These low voltage transformers output 12v. My biggest worry was connection as none of the literature on these transformers mentions the 2 cable pin connections needed. Again, I hoped it was universal for plug and play. Fortunately (and not mentioned) it comes with a cable adaptor for a perfect fit.Plugged in and turned on- sigh of relief- it worked! My last transformer blew during a fireworks night when we were constantly turning on and off the lights. TIP: have a surge protector between the transformer and the mains. Might save you a future replacement!

easy to read instructions and very easy to fit. Wattage was the main aspect and works all my garden lights.Would recommend.
