These will only roll forward and backward if installed as advertised. Made this way to avoid scratching or rubbing against an adjacent appliance or wall. And they work well. AND they lock. These are not swivel castor type wheels.

A set f 2 only. There’s NO WAY it can be used as 4. You can only use them with the two pieces put together. They cannot be used as 4, so yes it is misleading

I believe they could be used under a washer and dryer even with pedestals because they are not very high they would not add much height to the washer and dryer. We used ours to put under a fully loaded Craftsman tool chest so the weight would not be a problem.
