By hook or by crook
This broom handle is very hard wood - either Ash or Hickory - but unfortunately it had a couple of small knots in it ansd the screw end was 2-3 degrees off line with the rest . In the end no problem as I had to taper it down with a rasp to get a good fit in the long tube handled trowel blade I was using but its a good fit with no wobble. Glued the Blade on Sanded it down gave it one coat of Yacht Varnish ans a rub of wax . Just right for digging in the garden if like me you have plenty of driving weight but bad knees.

No theards
It arrived quickly but it didn't have threads on so it is only usefull as stick for fire absolute waste of money

This thing is a tooth pick, I needed twice its thickness yet……
