PastorelliPizza Sauce Italian Chef, 15-Ounce (Pack of 12) by Pastorelli

I'm from Chicago where Pastorelli is made. Purchased it there forever in stores and now from Amazon. This sauce makes an awesome thin crust pizza, three per 15oz can, 5oz per pizza. The flavor is the bomb and consistency just right. I make my own pizza here in FL because I can't find a decent pie joint anywhere. You can't beat this sauce. I've tried to duplicate it myself without luck. The folks at Pastorelli are the real deal.

Between the 3 sauces we have used... Pastorelli, Muir Glen & Dom Peppino... This is the best (listed rank ordered). Perfectly balanced flavor (not too sweet, not too spicy or salty) and consistency (just thick enough but not too thick, not thin & tomatoey).

We tried this based on all the rave reviews and didn't care for it. I realize everyone has different tastes so no biggie. It tasted like cheap processed sauce like you would find in a lunchable or something. To those who love it enjoy, maybe we got a bad batch but I doubt it. It even upset our stomachs.

Wow. Read other reviews. Always assumed jarred sauce works better. Nope. So much flavor. Makes homemade pizza spectacular. Best sauce I’ve used.
