This worked amazing. Within 2 days my aquarium water went from dark green to clear. I was skeptical at first.

Assuming the light is the proper wavelength, it basically dissolves viruses and other small organisms. I had one and got nervous about it eventually failing, so bought another two.I use these along with chlorine dioxide to keep stored 'emergency' water potable.

This light killed my fish 2 times

This UV light bar comes in a branded box with the light bar, two suction cup mounts, and some paperwork. The light has some inline controls on the cord with one button that swaps between time settings of 3h/6h/12h/24hrs.After putting this in my filter, it started to clear my tank up quite fast and I have similar ones in each of my filters to keep my tanks clean.Unlike the other review which clearly used this wrong, this works and works very well for your water quality as does any other UV light.HOWEVER, as the other reviewer clearly has never used or read a UV light before, you are NEVER to expose your fish or any livestock directly to UV light. It WILL kill your fish or livestock and even the listing says to keep it in your filter, away from your fish. Even in their not so well written English but there are even example pictures to guide you too.Overall, great UV light that works and cleans your water. Keep it away from any fish and livestock or it will harm and kill them.
