Works really well in our 4 person hot tub
For the money, this little unit is a great addition to our hot tub. Without having to install an inline UV filter, this cleared up some emerging biofilm overnight. We still use the chemicals and stay on top of all of that, but this was a good addition to the overall filtration. I use a stone to hold the cord down so that the unit hangs in front of the filter intake.

Quit working after less than one month
Not good quality at all. I purchased two and they both quit after a couple of weeks. I would like a refund.

Do not buy this or anything with the same timed plug
I plugged it into power selected 6 hours 30 seconds later smoke then a loud pop i do not recommend this item at all

STAY AWAY !!
I bought this on July 17 for around 28 bucks. It worked great and the water was as clear as glass in a 75 gallon turtle tank with 5 turtles, and turtles create a lot of waste. This worked well until it just died on Aug 20th just 3 days past the return window. I also bought two other 15 Watt sterilizers (same brand) one was $26 and the other cost $18, then when I recieved them, one was dead on arrival and the other lasted 5 days. Sent one back for replacement and took refund on other. Stupid me..the replacement also died within days of putting it in tank. I don't know about orher brands but I'd stay away from JAHEA brand sterilizers, I'm very dissatisfied and I'm out the money on two of the sterilizers since it's past the return window. It's not right that I'm out over 50 bucks because they crapped the bed days after the return window. The warranty should be at least 6 months, then if it died at least you got some benefit for your hard earned money, not just days and customer service phone calls and return hassles.JAHEA ARE YOU LISTENING??
