Entertaining
This book is extremely entertaining to read. It's full of bizarre stories, but they are dealt with in a respectful and balanced way. Those involved are neither mocked, nor taken overly seriously. This is far more than the gor blimey type encyclopaedia type books that one sometimes comes across. There is depth, interest and above all entertainment.

Great book!
Loved this book, informative and hilarious. Bought for me by a friend and purchased another copy for my dad who also loved it. There’s a great spin off podcast too called we can be weirdos, which is worth a listen. Good stuff.

Cultivate a rough patch
Absolutely loved this book.I’m huge fan of Dan Schreiber (and the rest of Fish) and have listened to all the podcast episodes. This book is an absolute delight, the perfect combination of informative, interesting and funny. You’ll learn lots of random facts along the way to and it’s the perfect reminder to cultivate your own ‘rough patch’.

Very interesting however a few typos
It's a very interesting book about lots of different subjects and not particularly difficult to read however I did notice a lot of typos which for the price of the book I wouldn't expect to find in it.

Absolutely brilliant.
Read this in two sittings while on holiday in Jamaica. It gave me plenty to talk about at dinner and around the pool. A fantastic read and I'd love to read more of the same. Well recommended.

A delightful read
So much interesting information is stuffed into this book, but it is all presented in such a wonderful, flowing, and easy to read way. I enjoyed every word! It goes to show that even the strangest beliefs can lead to some wonderful things. My favorite being the theory of Hollow Earth leading to the creation of the Smithsonian Institution. How awesome is that? I definitely recommend this book!

Like the podcast
Dan is always funny on the podcast, needed more ‘useless’ facts in my life

Thoroughly enjoyable!
This is not the most important book I’ve ever read. However, since I almost always read non-fiction, reading something that’s seems to be a funny mix between (possibly) fiction and (probably) non-fiction was entirely enjoyable and well worth the time spent reading it. I do recommend it.
