THIS WORKS IF USED PROPERLY!
Use your brain when using products. Rodents hate the smell of peppermint oil and cinnamon oil. Which this product uses, albeit less concentrations that I'd like but the price makes up for that and you can always add more on your own. It doesn't take much, really. The sprayer is battery operated which is useful I suppose. You don't need to use a lot of this. Just wet the area evenly, only 3 inches wide really. If it rains you'll have to reapply, obviously. This is a BARRIER product. It PUSHES rodents. It doesn't repel like an electric fence. If you already have an infestation this product will likely PUSH them inside more. You need to use this BEFORE you have an infestation. I use it in the fall right when the night temperatures get 40 or below. I spray the house brick where they likely come in under the siding. This worked so well that even squirrels that would bury nuts around my house stopped going there.I also spray my garage perimeter but I start inside around the cars for a week or two, since rodents are inevitably already inside. I then PUSH them out from there, after the car perimeter I put it on the INSIDE perimeter of garage walls. Then after a week I do the OUTSIDE perimeter. This works perfectly every single year. Once it stays cold they don't go inside because they already made their home for the winter elsewhere. But I do spray every other month or so to keep them out since for some people/mice they will be attracted back in the garage once the warm cars park in there. If you park outside where mice are a worry, spray under the engine bay ground and a perimeter around the car, preferably under slightly to protect from weather washing it away faster. They're attracted to the heat so they come in the engine compartment area the most. It's simple. Peppermint oil alone works but cinnamon helps. If you have rodents used to this or larger ones like rats you'll need to increase the oils. Buy some and add it to this, even cooking extracts work. You want toothpaste in your eyes or nose? That's what this does to rodents. But it PUSHES them. So if they're inside already you need to use it inside to PUSH them out (not advised since it smells ok but it'll bother your own eyes inside). This works best if you use it BEFORE but I promise once I had mice come in my house for two years straight it stopped after I used peppermint oil and cinnamon oil products. This is a weaker and cheaper product but it does work in principle. If it isn't PUSHING for you, get a product with higher concentrations or add more oil to this yourself. And remember, if they're already inside something you have to PUSH them from the inside first. You do it from the outside you're just going to keep them inside and they'll eventually get used to it anyway.

It works…. I couldn’t believe it worked!
Had mice under the sink and throughout the bottom cabinet drawers. I tried 3 different products and none of them made a difference in the droppings I found. Then I ordered Tom Cat spray and used it only under the sink after I did a major clean up. Went back 1week later and there was a few so I resprayed and checked 1week later and since then nothing.I then bought indoor outdoor gallon sprayer of Tom Cat and sprayed my cellar and perimeter of the house. It’s inoffensive odor and the fact that it actually worked prompted me to share this review.if you decide to use it you won’t be disappointed

It works, but you have to keep using it.
I am using it in our horse barn. Slowly but surely the mice are moving out. It smells like a mint julep, which is o.k. if you like the smell of bourbon. Just be prepared to continue using it until your mouse problem is taken care of.

Smells good
I seen signs of a mouse a few months back. I boght the Tom Cat spray repellent and the plug in repellent. After cleaning my house I sprayed around every base board, vent, grat, door corner and crawl space in my home and turned on the plug in. I also set traps in the area I seen droppings. After a few days, I sprayed the garage. After a week or so I sprayed around outside and plugged anything that looked like a whole with the foam spray. It's been over a month and I have NOT seen any signs of a mouse 🐁 and believe me I have been looking. At this point I think the product works and will buy more. The scent is really nice and the oil.last for about a month when on medium.

Buy It!
I was extremely skeptical before buying this but also desperate. I built my house in the middle of a field and have mice in my house every winter. These last two years have been horrible. This year after setting up six traps in my basement and garage, and five days straight of catching mice in them, I ordered this product. It’s been three weeks since I first used it and the weather has gotten even colder since. I sprayed my garage door openings, the wood surrounding the Jams, the concrete, all around the outside of my house including the mulch and about three inches of the brick and door openings. I also found each of my garage doors have openings big enough by the sensors to fit a large rat through which I sprayed very well. I then sprayed the insulation in my basement that was placed between the top of the basement wall and the upstairs floor including the wood. I left all of my mouse traps in the same places and have not had one mouse back into my house since the first time I sprayed. Today I went back and re-sprayed my basement since it needs to be done every 4 weeks and it is extremely cold today. It does smell pretty strong like cloves with a slight hint of garlic but it is only strong in the home for about 2 days and then you don’t smell it anymore. It’s so worth it to me, it’s not a harsh chemical smell and it’s safe for my dog. And it actually works. My house is a 2600 sq ft colonial with an additional 1500 sq ft basement and I was able to give it a really good spray everywhere, probably more than needed, and my garage again today with one giant jug of this. Luckily I bought two so I have one full jug left that will probably last me until spring bc I don’t plan on soaking the outside of my house again until spring. I’ll continue to do the basement and garage every 3-4 weeks. This stuff is amazing and worth every penny.
