Lonely Planet Moroccan Arabic Phrasebook & Dictionary Paperback – 1 Jan. 2014

Very useful small book. Easy to learn commonly used sentences for everyday conversations. I haven't found any other book online that has moroccan dictionary and phrases for a very reasonable price of £4.99 can't go wrong.

Great for holidays

A very handy little phrasebook and dictionary - ideal for popping into the pocket or day-sack.As well as the Moroccan Arabic there is also a small section at the back covering some of the basic travel topics in English and French making it even better value for money and use.The book covers all the usual travel situations - Getting Around, Accommodation, Money, Emergencies, Eating Out etc. It is well laid out with the written word for each item in English/pronunciation form/Arabic enabling you to use it show to someone if they don't understand your pronunciation.I've yet to put this book to the test but, even though I have been to Morocco a number of times already, will certainly feel more confident knowing I have it with me.

Used this for a short trip to Morocco and it helped massively! My pronunciation wasn’t great, but with some pointing and grunting I could get people to read the bit of the book I needed!

this is probably a really good phrase book and dictionary, but its in Spanish and I wanted English, most likely an error on my part. so now gonna have to learn Spanish so I can in turn learn arabic. you win some you lose some

Got this for my daughter's trip to Moroçco. Came in very handy

Very handy book but would have been good to describe how to say words. As in other lonely planet books.

If you are an English speaker and traveling to the northern, Mediterranean coast of Africa, this little guide is indispensable.It has sections on all of the common situations for a traveler and includes guides to French and some of the native, non-Arabic words and phrases too. The guide also has bits on popular customs, do's and don'ts.I highly recommend this pocket sized language guide.

The most practical book I've read so far.

Creo que es un must si viajas por Marruecos y no quieres o no tienes la oportunidad de aprender el idioma.Las frases que incluye son básicas pero suficientes para la mayoría de las situaciones que puede enfrentar un viajero en el día a día.Su tamaño compacto la hace ideal para llevarla en el bolsillo del pantalón o en la bolsa exterior de una backpack.
