We always get our boys evoshield helmets. They both love the fit of them. The matte colors are their favorite and it is all we are allowed to buy them. All helmets are expensive but they are worth it to protect their heads. The only problem we have come across is when we need new ones they are usually out of stock and we have to wait a while for them. The matte navy blue seems to always be on back order.

My son was needing a black helmet and this fit perfectly in matte black.

My boys prefer the boombah helmets but between allstars and travel ball, they are always getting new team helmets, so we have had several brands, sizes, and colors. We have the older version of this helmet and hated it. The sizing used to make them look funny on older evo in this style. The sizing on this newer version is so much better than the old ones! They fit and look so much better even though the style is similar. We like this one. Fits and looks good on the team.
