These copper mats prevent food from burning when cooked on a grill and the food cooks more evenly. Fat from steaks or other drippings do not ignite as they stay on the mat. The food still tastes like it was cooked on the grill.The mats clean off fairly well and are reusable. I use each mat for up to a dozen times before discarding.The biggest advantage of using the copper mates besides food retaining the grill taste is that I no longer have to clean my grill grate after every use. This will extend the life of grill grates.

I love these mats! They keep the grill clean and nothing sticks when grilling! I use tongs to slide it off the grill onto the ground so to let it cool off! No mess on the grill itself! Once the mat cools, I take it inside and hand wash it with hot water and soap. Just like new again! Ready to reuse!

Great price for 7 non-stick BBQ mats that work very well! Truly non-stick. Fairly easy to clean up. However, I'm not so sure about durability as only after the very first use (two bratwursts) on the BBQ, most of the surface cleaned fairly easily with a few trouble spots would not clean. A "scrungy" type pad was used to clean the trouble spots which resulted in removal of the thin surface as shown in the photo. It is recommended to NOT SCRUB HARD AND DO NOT USE ANYTHING RESEMBLING A SCRUNGY-TYPE PAD. Use only a cloth or soft sponge. I wish the manufacturer has stated this in the description. I don't know if all mats are prone to this type of surface damage.

These grill mats have performed completely to my satisfaction in every way. They are effective in preventing gas grill flare ups that had charred my grilled meats in the past. I've used the one in the photo cooking at 450+ for ribs, chicken, chops and more at least half dozen times. Each time it has cleaned using a Scotch Brite pad and was then ready for the next use. This is an excellent griller accessory for when I grill several times each week.

We love these mats and cook most everything on them with no stuck on food. Use a light spray of oil to start and after cooking it wipes away clean- best grill mats we have ever owned!

Great for everything grilled so far.. burgers, steak and kabobs. Don't have to worry about cleaning burners or getting the small fire from something dripping on the burners. Might have to cook an extra minute or 2 since does seem to block some of the heat.
