Australian Wood Wax - Craftsman Timber Wax - No Turpentine or solvents

I tried this today for the first time on all my previously waxed modern light oak furniture and old fireplace beam. For the last couple of years I have used Briwax clear which does a good job but this stuff is so much better as it seems to penetrate the wood rather than sit on top of it. Admittedly, Briwax is easier apply as it is a thick paste, whereas this stuff is more solid. I noticed a difference immediately because I could see where the wood had absorbed it, unlike with other polishes. I used a soft horse hair shoe brush to buff it after it had dried, and it left a lovely mid-sheen finish.Another big benefit for me is that this wax only has a mild, natural and pleasant scent, whereas the Briwax and others I have used over the years have been very pungent, turpsy, and overbearing for a few days.Next time I polish, I will definitely use a non-lint cloth as it causes the yellow duster to drag and leave lint behind. As I used a brush to buff it afterwards, any bits sticking to the wood were removed anyway.I absolutely love this polish and will buy from now on. I genuinely recommend you give it a try, if only to find out what the Aussie bush smells like!

Small tin but you only need a small amount.Used this on my light oak furniture .It gives a lovely shine and easily polished in. There is no real smell but very pleased with the results.

It certainly helped to add lustre to a new (dull surface) furniture item I'd bought and also to some old furniture I already had. It took quite a while for it to cure/dry even though I rubbed it thinly.... a few days in a room around 16C. Would I buy again? Yes.

I bought this to use on the walnut interior of my 3 year old Volvo XC90.Some of the interior wood had gotten bleached by the sun over the years.It was very easy to apply and immediately made the wood look better.The smell of the wax is lovely.As a final nice element of the order I hand written note from Bab’s The seller to say she hoped I liked the product and to call if I needed any assistance with it.Very good product and service.

Having belatedly realised that spray polish with a misleading beehive shaped cover contains about as much beeswax as mineral oil I fully recommend this polish. It took a while to build up an adequate surface and a lot of polishing but the effort is worth it and may not require re-waxing for months. Good delivery service and a well formulated product. Our furniture now retains a deep glow which is easy to maintain.

Great smell which helped freshen up the wood but even with significant polishing/buffing this left a tacky residue on a table top and was very oily.

I bought this wax for treating the wood of my electric guitar. It’s a very good product, it really enhances the natural texture of the wood and gives it a silky smoothness. It also smells great, the Australian bush scent is somehow between eucalyptus and rosemary. I have to say I had an Australian girlfriend back in the day and my memories of the scent of the Australian bush were not exactly positive, but this product made me think again. That really says a lot. It also arrived on time and with a lovely handwritten note from the seller. What’s not to like?

Brilliant wax for wood. A little goes a long way. It brought out a luster in the wood I was polishing which I've never seen. Great product.
