Just as cute as advertised. Quality of the toy is very good, no loose stitches or under-stuffed bits. I'd recommend this toy not be given to any infants or toddlers or those prone to breaking pieces off toys and eating them, because the monacle, while secured to the toy, is a separate piece with a chain attached, so that could be a potential hazard. That said, I recommend this toy if you're in the market for a medium-expensive kids' toy.

I bought this for my otter loving boyfriend. We already have a few otters in our collection, but this one for right in. He is very soft and cute. Wouldn’t recommend it for young kids as they could probably pull of the hat and monocle and choke. But it is a very nice gift for someone who loves otters

I bought this as a gift for my daughter who loves all things otter. What a fun and unique character. Otters are tough to come by and then add the unique charm and personality this guy has and it is the perfect gift for any otter fan!

love this guy bought him for my girlfriends birthday she looooves LOOOVES otters and I like top hats he still sits on her desk and has been dubbed SIR LORD HACHENBACH the monocle manual says it all and the hat speaks great wisdom to the soul

I liked it, and was almost tempted to keep it. However it did end up going to my girl, and she adored it.The hat isn't real rigid, and the mustache doesn't seem sewn on too well but otherwise it's great! The stitching is good, the plush is firm so it'll sit on it's own but not hard, and still huggable.

I got this for my husband for our anniversary (we love otters) and this "astute otter" was perfect he loved it
