The New Legal Sea Foods Cookbook: 200 Fresh, Simple, and Delicious Recipes from Appetizers to Desserts

I bought this cookbook for my husband, who is not a New Englander. I had to take a photo of all the pages he tagged with any paper he could find. I grew up in Cambridge,Ma and am very familiar with theLegal Seafood restaurants. I was very excited when a friend of mine recommended this cookbook. I enjoyed reading the history of the restaurant and the family. The recipes are great and easy to follow. I find the ingredients are readily available.

Like the famous restaurant, the cookbook is superb.

This book contains so many recipes and includes substitution for fish if you can't find the fish they call for. Easy recipes.

I used to eat at Legal Sea Foods and it is a treat to have the cookbook. Try the bluefish pate. It takes a minute or two to make and the result is divine.

At long last, I have the genuine secret recipe for Legal Sea Foods Crab Cakes!! YAY!!

I have been looking for a good tartar sauce and found the best in a Cook's Country Book, the Legal Seafood Brand. Because none was available in retail, I decided to check the Legal Seafood Cookbook for a recipe. I found the book to be very informative on all kinds of available fish which helps in how the fish is best cooked by its properties.

Recipes are so simple that you don't need this cookbook. There is nothing here that you couldn't put together with a few simple ingredients. Thank goodness I only spent 6.00 with shipping on it. And the author describes the recipes as "flashy" so many times that it sounded stupid. I never heard of a recipe of dish as being "flashy". Their recipe for Crap and Artichoke Hush puppies has no artichoke in the ingredients!!

Love their food in restaurants wanted to cook myself. Very happy to have this in my kitchen or beside the bed to read for ideas.
