A Tune a Day for the French Horn: Book 1

Great all-rounder for any student
What a classic text to use. Ideal for Primary to Grammar school use...but also fantastic as core text for adults of any age to self-teach. Over the years I’ve used many of these books and would always recommend for its brilliant layout. Makes a fine book for beginner rudiments of music theory, it’s definitely my ‘go to’ learner series.

Good for beginners
I bought this book for a young learner who could already produce a good sound but needed to build an embouchere. This is a good starter guide.

A tune a day arrived quickly and has been a simple way to gradually get my son playing without being overwhelmed by French horn practice!

Three Stars
Very basic for a beginner but more experienced players need more of a range of music.
