I have a question to all readers out there
I have read more than 70 percent of the book It was great to o know all this valuable information put out in a single book.im truly grateful to the author of this book.I have a question to the readers out there,when should we start the phase 2 diet,is it after reintroduction of foods followed by phase 1 diet or is it the long term diet of autoimmune protocol.

A must read for anyone looking to take charge of your health
Highly recommend this book to everyone who is suffering from any form of gut / GI health or auto immune diseases.I really enjoyed reading the TIGER protocol. Dr. Akil even though is a medical doctor from Harvard, he explains the concept in a very easy to understand format for people like myself. I am going to follow this as everything he mentioned is accurate and I can relate to it. I started implementing some of the things he recommended in the book regarding diet changes and I am already feeling more energetic and less tired. have hope that I will recover following this protocol.

This really helped!
It helped so much with my daughter and my gut issues, I've read so many books regarding gut health and none of them were as well written and explanatory as this one, in this really science backed up step to heal your gut you will find a lot of helpful suggestions to heal your gut ... so far one of the few books that have really helped

This book is life changing!
A thorough, understandable, up-to-date guide on basically, how to not only heal and prevent autoimmune problems, but live a healthy life full of vitality. I'm working through a recent MS diagnosis, and came about this book via an inteview on a Dhru Purohit podcast. I read both the Paleovedic Diet first and then this one, and I'm ready to re-read and consolidate my notes on them. What appeals to me is that it's written by a very well respected doctor within a large and reputable California hospital network who has a clinic there healing patients in what I believe to be the most rational manner -- lifestyle and nutrition first. When I began sorting out what to do about my recent diagnosis, I came across the Wahls Protocol (a doctor who was diagnosed with severe MS and was able to bring herself back to health) and had begun on that when I read Dr Palanisamy's books. They echo each other in the importance of 9 cups of vegetables/fruit, grassfed meat/fish, omega-3s -- and Dr Palanisamy goes into some incredible research on other foods and methods of creating anti-inflammatory and healing environments for your body as well. This is an excellent guide to understanding the actual importance of nutrition and what you put into your body. He also covers bits on meditation and sleep and rest that explain why these foundational "skills" are actually foundational. This is more than a book full of statistics, it's the latest science. If you follow functional health as a necessary component to whole healing and complement to western medicine as well, are dealing with an autoimmune or other health issue, or are just in to extending your healthspan, this book is a cornerstone read. I've shared it with many and my family is using it as a guide for them since I've been working on getting myself back into balance.

Informative and easy to follow
I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a way to improve or control an autoimmune disease.It's so different from the books that I have read before. Dr. Akil explains the technique in a very simple format which is easy to follow along.

One of the best healthcare books out there. Very well written. Simple easy to understand and implement. A wealth of knowledge compacted into 300 pages. Thank you Dr.Akhil Palanisamy for writing such a wonderful book.
