Optimum BDI Avion II 8929 Premium AV Cabinet (Natural stained cherry)

I read a review of this which was dated 2011 and wondered why the reviewer felt 'compelled' to put pen to paper when it seemed he'd never done so before. I now understand as this is a fabulous unit for anyone with the cash to fork out. Yes it's mind blowingly expensive.The unit houses anything you have to back up a home cinema experience ++ and the design with ties for wire and tv are well thought out.Mine has a centre speaker neatly housed within the top draw and still gives room for Blu-rays behind. (it has a breathable facia for sound dispersal) and my old and trusted Dual 510 record deck fits neatly within, albeit without its top. The shelves have cut outs to disperse heat and the old Aram 600 which is renowned for working hot has no problems.The main thing though is its looks fabulous and all remotes work with the doors closed.I now understand the man in 2011 having to review!
