Universal EZback Earring Backs Soft Clear Silicone and Sterling Silver Small 1 Pair

Easy to use, the silicone cushions the posts against my head. Most importantly, they hold my studs in place! I use them for all of my studs.

I have a pair of gold studs that are beautiful but the studs are thin and my old backs fell off easily, but these backs are great and really hold. Well worth the price.

My 61-year-old ear lobe earring piercings are a bit "draggy" and most of the the backings that I have for my earrings (I usually wear just studs) are just too small-even the ones that have the clear plastic ring around the small center backing. I've tried a couple of other products (a strong "paper" you affix to the back of the lobe and some other variations of backings) but these really are the best. They adhere to your lobe much more firmly than others do. I've purchased a couple of pairs of the medium size (my ear lobes are small-is) and one large for a pair of hanging earrings that needed more anchoring. Nearly all of my earrings are just "fashion" ones (inexpensive) but I do have a nice pair of diamond earring and they came with large and secure backings but I lost one and to replace it was $75. I feel very comfortable wearing even my diamond earrings with these backings. Another great find!

I tend to wear studs for days at a time. Sleeping in them sometimes causes the traditional butterfly backings to twist sideways off the post, and it pinches a lot when the circular part of the backing digs into the back of my ear. Once in that position they are hard to get off, causing more pain. In addition the traditional backing with silicone disc that has been of the market for about 30 years I simply find uncomfortable and they grip poorly compared to the butterfly style clips. My search for comfortable backing that would not twist brought me to these backings about a month ago. I really really like these backings. I put them on and kept them on for about two weeks and never had either backing bite or pinch my ear lobe and the post, tho it did stick out the back of the silicone, provided enough padding so no poking into my neck either. Only four stars because they are small and pretty slippery. My suggestion would be to purchase more than one pair if you are going with the mini's. I dropped one while changing my earrings and frankly I am too old to be crawling under my bed to find a backing that blends into the flooring! I did find it tho and have been happily wearing them ever since.

Nice backs, but they didn't do the job I hoped for which was to conceal the posts so that they don't stick into my neck when sleeping or wearing headphones or on the phone. They do feel better than traditional backs, but why oh why is it so impossible to find backs that are comfortable and completely hide the posts? You know what still works best to this day? Cutting off and using the rubber eraser end of a pencil! Cut off the eraser and then pop it on the back of your earring. Voila. Padded, no pain. Guess I'll go pick up a pack of pencils today at the store.

I bought these after I was gifted some diamond stud earrings from Zale. The ones that it originally came with broke and would constantly slide off and make my earrings fall after any little movement. I bought these after reading the reviews and they work perfectly! My earrings don’t move at all and I’m able to shower and sleep without them getting lose. You don’t have to screw these on to your earring they just slide in but they take a tiny bit of force to remove them which is exactly what I was looking for. However, if you constantly change earrings you may find the heavy duty part of this frustrating because they do seal onto your earring quite a bit. However if you don’t mind taking a bit extra time to remove these carefully then you’ll be fine. Don’t buy if you want to slide your earrings right off after a long day, definitely made for long wear.

Such an improvement from the tiny extra backs. Bought some for me and a package for my mom. Great!

If you are considering buying this product to use in your child’s ear, please reconsider. I should have taken the advice of one of the previous reviewer who said that these damaged her daughter’s ears. My daughter wore these earring backs for all of 5 days before they messed up her earlobe (I only needed these to replace one lost back). My photo is after I cleaned her infected earlobe with peroxide.Before using these, I decided to soak them in an earring cleaning solution and let them dry overnight. The next day I put them in her ears, along with her diamond earrings from Kay Jewelers. She wore them 5 days straight, day and night. On the 3rd day, she told me that her ears were uncomfortable, but I chalked it up to her not wearing her earrings for a while. By the 5th day she complained again of pain, so I took them out. The ear with this earring back dug into her ear and her ear became infected: red with puss coming out of her ear. Weeks later, and the ear has now scabbed over and slightly healed. My 5 year old will now have to get her ear re-pierced, which we are not looking forward too.

I wanted secure earring backs, as I wear fish hook style of earrings, and was always losing one of them. I have arthritis in both hands, and this enables me to put on my earrings without help.

I like them. They are easy to put on and don’t stab the back of head.

I purchased these earring backs for a few of my bottom gold earrings as my earrings were not sitting right on my ear.With these lightweight clear earring backs I am happy that my earrings now sit level and face the right way, not dipping down looking at the floor! loloThanks for this product. 💐A happy customer.Carol

Very nice product. I was having issues with a cheap metal backing due to allergies and sensitivity and this was a great replacement. I’m going to repurchase some in gold to replace my other backings bc these are more comfortable if you sleep with studs in. They stop the posts from jabbing your skull lol
