NECESPOW 6-in-1 Solar Connector Kit with Female and Male Connectors, Universal Solar Adapter Cable Compatable for Solar Panel & Solar Power Staion

This solar connector kit is well made and works like a charm. I have no problem using it to connect my portable power station to a portable solar panel. Having it for a few weeks now under the sun pretty much every single day, I don't see any degradation in terms of delivering power and the connector itself. Pretty happy with it. Highly recommended.

I have a Kohler Encube 1.8 backup battery which came with 60 watt Kohler solar panels. I have NEVER been able to charge the Kohler backup battery with the solar panels successfully and dealing with the MC-4 connectors on the Encube has been torture. I purchased this adapter in the hopes of being able to use the solar panels to charge my Jackery 160 and 240 and with my Yeti Goal Zero 3000x [power stations for critical medical devices] and I am THRILLED to report that I am able to use the 8mm end on this adapter along with an 8mm extender cable I already had to successfully charge the Jackery power stations and the Yeti. I kind of felt like the price was a little high but after seeing the quality and using the adapter I believe this was well worth the money. I think you should note however, that trying to deal with uncoupling MC-4 connectors on anything is a total pain the in sitting part of the anatomy. To solve that, I did purchase a BougeRV 1 Solar Connector Tool Assembly Spanners Wrenches, Solar Panel Connector Tool here on Amazon which totally and inexpensively solves that chord removal problem. So about $30 I can now use the 60 watt rigid solar panels I have which seem to charge what I need charged pretty quickly.

CCA (Aluminum Plated Copper) wiring has a higher resistance so it heats up faster and can be increase the likelihood of drops in voltage.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. This adapter works with the Duracell 500w battery pack I bought at COSTCO. The battery pack comes with a plug / AC for charging. But it did not come with any identification on plug type for Solar charging. This adapter will work. In the picture it is the one that is red and black.

The items (wire connections) seem sold and well built. I couldn’t make anything better myself as (DIY). Hopefully I never need it, but in a “crunch” this item slides into a daypack (sleek and compact). I’ll be glad I got it!

Es IP65, en vez de IP68, pero no lo considero importante porque lo utilizo en la zona interior donde tengo la powerstation. Todas las conexiones estan cubiertas con plastico duro..... excepto la Anderson, pero acepto que la Anderson es de todo menos standard, osea, las hay verticales, horizontales, con el rojo a la izquierda, a la derecha, asi que la unica forma de compatibilizarla con todas las posibilidades es con una tapa de plastico blando extraible para que cada cual las adapte a sus necesidades. Concretamente, a mi me vino horizontal, tal y como la tengo, pero con el rojo y el negro intercambiados.
