My headache specialist recommended this device for my chronic migraines which do not respond to the many medications I have tried.It's a good little device that comes with a charger and thorough instructions.Does it help? That will be a question for each user to answer for themselves. I haven't found the time to use it daily for preventive purposes and have primarily used it when having a migraine. I'm not sure how much it helps, i.e. it doesn't free me from the migraine experience and I'm not sure it adds a great deal in pain relief, though my pain is seldom severe.But there is something about it that I like. I jokingly tell people that it feels like it is sucking my brain out through my pores! It is an unusual sensation and only a little painful - and that is something that can be adjusted. It makes me doze off which is sometimes helpful. Sort of like rebooting my brain. :-)I don't regret buying it. But neither do I tout it as a miracle cure. So I give it 4 stars.

My neurologist recommended this device, so I didn't check reviews. Big mistake. Directions say device may be "uncomfortable" which is often medical speak for "hurts". I don't think it is clear in the directions that the device keeps increasing in intensity for the first 14 minutes. I made it to about five minutes before ripping it off; hurt way more than a migraine, and still hurt 30 minutes later. Will try it again now that I realize I can set the intensity, but honestly I think it will be too strong at level one. I am not keen on a pain relief device that causes more pain the headache. Could not recommend this to anyone.

Tried this for a week and it make my headache and migraines worse.Shortly after using it on day 5 I rushed to the doctor with excruciating pain.Tried to return but supposedly can’t. And returns are not allowed.$500 wasted. So dissatisfied.

Did not even work don’t waste your money. Listen to everyone reviews I dint and got stuck with this that don’t even work waste of money .

As soon as he took it of a daylong massive cluster migraine starred. He won't use it again.

The first time I used it, I had to sit up on my couch and it fell right off though it was connected properly according to instructions. The unit hit my coffee table and the top plastic border cracked. It is made of SUCH CHEAP PLASTIC you cannot believe it. Super glue isn't even holding to it well and they reply to my request for warranty saying they won't cover anything that is "roughly handled" or cracked.RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT BUY.I wish I would have bought a sturdier older and used one from a private person on ebay. I wish I had read more of these reviews.

This device was prescribed by my Nero. a couple of things you should know:1. Make sure you read throughly the instructions before you have a migraine. Test it out. The last thing you want is to read the directions and figure it out when you have a migraine2. I used it twice and 50% setting, and immediately threw it off my forehead. The Pain was intense.3. It can be used anywhere but just remember you have to keep in on for 30 min. if you are out and about, it looks weird if people see you.4. There is a button on the front of the device, when you press it, you can't see the color because it's on your forehead. Pressing it also makes the migraine worse and hurts the forehead.3. I cannot recommend this device to anyone who suffers from migraines. Please don't waste you money.

I ordered my cefaly from Amazon. It came in 2 days & simply did not work the unit was defective!!. The company would not send me a replacement, but Amazon as awesome as they are reimbursed my $352.00 for the purchase.So be careful dealing with this company & their product!!
