A little box of happiness for any child..........or adult!
This magic show is set is absolutely brilliant! We gave it to our grandson to play with in the summer. He loved it. We did have to help him with most of the tricks but he is young. Nevertheless it’s a fun set. And this will keep the adults s and kids entertained all over Christmas and into the new year. Some of the tricks he did with my husband I still can’t work out how they were done.Anyway you get great entertainment value in this box.

Good Starter Magic Set
This is a good starter set with some really great tricks for your Child to perform. I would however say that unless your Child is an excellent reader that the minimum age should probably be around 8 years old as my Son struggled to read the small writing on the included scene cards and also struggled with the multi language steps in the Trick Booklet as there are 6 languages one under the other for each trick step. Also some of the tricks are quite hard to do and even I struggled to do a few as an adult and so again maybe a younger child would struggle.I have deducted a couple of stars as in all honesty some of the tricks are very hard and I think there has been an issue with some of the trick translations and directions as for example on the scene cards the card for The Disappearing Cube has clearly been named incorrectly The Cut Rope. Also some of the directions and step by step instructions in the trick booklet don't make any sense if you try to do them as they advise, so again I think there has been some errors with the translations. The set comes with the items your Child will need to put on their magic show and also a Trick Booklet which details how to do each trick step by step but please see about the multi language steps above. There are also 24 scene cards included which again are multi language but go so far as to even give your Child what they need to say for each trick and an introduction and closing speech. The scene cards also give prompts for how to perform each trick but the detailed steps are in the trick booklet.Tricks include:-The Cut Rope Trick (Really good but getting the rope to thread through is difficult and I ended up having to push the rope through with a stick to help my Son)The Pirate's Knot (Really good but your Child needs to be able to tie the knot a specific way)The Magic Drawer (Really good but instructions aren't clear you need to tilt the box as you turn)The Money Drawer (Same as Magic drawer but with a coin)Snap the Match (Good but not happy about giving Son a real match to go with the magic one at his age)The Flying Match (Good)The Flying Coin (Same as Flying Match but with a coin)The Safe (Instructions aren't great but finally worked it out that point A is on the top corner not the bottom middle and a really good trick once you have worked this out)The Turnstile (Slight of Hand my Son struggled with this)The Lost Coin (Bit rubbish in honesty but easy to do)Telepathy 1, 2 and 3 (Good but think these are really for older children other than telepathy 3)Metamorphosis (Good easy to do)The Transformation Trick (See above translation and instruction issues)The Disappearing Cube (See above translation and instruction issues)The Coin and Dagger Trick (Tricky my Son struggled with this)The Disappearing Leg Trick (Easy but requires balance)The Weather VaneThe Flying Spoon (Bit rubbish and didn't really work well)So in summary an okay first magic set but the instructions and translation issues need to be resolved.

Decent introduction to magic tricks
This is a decent introduction to magic tricks for children. It contains 20 tricks. The instructions for each trick are good. They tell your child not only what to do but what to say – I expected the former but not the latter. The suggested words project confidence and help make the tricks more impressive. My daughter has enjoyed not only playing with this but also performing tricks to us and friends.Price at time of review: £18.30

Classic fun
This is more or less the exact same kid's magic starter set that has been sold for generations, with a few minor variations. But having said that, it is still a great introduction to some simple tricks that kids will enjoy performing for their parents (even if we had to read them the instructions to explain how to do the trick in the first place...). A great gift for kids from around ages 8 to 10.

Range of tricks - some good, some bad - more for the older child.
This is a nicely presented set - as another reviewer noted, the instructions are a bit hit and miss and it does impact the impression of the set. The older the child the better the results I think - we tried right at the lower end and not only was it tricky to read, it also led to a bit of frustration all round - when they work they work well, but it does take some effort. For the money, you do get quite a lot - but it’s in no way a perfect set - but possibly good at seeing if a child has an interest which they can then take further.

Good fun as a first magic set for children
The BUKI 6060 - My Magic Show arrives in a nice presentation box. Our 7 year old grand-daughter thought this was fun. The instructions are a little bit complex and a few dry runs to familiarise with the trick and co-ordination will pay good dividends when presenting to other member of the family. It is only a toy and the fun is in the doing and everyone's surprise in the magic trick. We thought this was relative good in relation to the cost and what you get.

A little underwhelming for the cost
I was a bit disappointed by this set - apart from the box, it looks and feels quite cheap. It's intended for children aged 7+ but the instructions are quite complex and with small text so 8-9 is probably a minimum. It's not a bad starter kit, but I just felt for the price it would have been a bit nicer.
