Excellent ottoman, perfect for storing extra bedding or toys. Delivered next day by prime it is a very solid chest with a slow close mechanism. The base and lid are solid wood and the front, back and side panels are made from thick mdf finished with a hard wearing gloss paint. It took me about half an hour to assemble with an electric screwdriver and my 5 year old son passing me the required screws.It has a slow close mechanism which should prevent small hands from being trapped and it is solid enough to sit on without fear of it breaking. The current price of circa £70 is spot on and certainly it is good value as it is an attractive item of furniture which will outlast many other examples in a similar price band. In looks and quality it is almost on a par with items from the Cotswold company although do remember it is part mdf though this does not detract in any way from the appearance of the ottoman.We are very pleased with it and no doubt others would be as well.

Take care the lid damper can tear the lid if you overfill the box. The bottom is too lightweight for the loading expected in this type of box.However it looks really stylish.

I have the 3 different sets of the matching drawers so I thought I’d get this as a nice addition. It’s just the right size, sturdy and easy to assemble. Beautiful addition to my bedroom. Well worth the purchase.

It's arrived promptly and well packaged so no parts were damaged. It took a little time to construct as the feet were not drilled but other other than that it went well. It is best to have two people when attaching the lid to make things easier.Looks great in my daughters bedroom.

Good quality blanket box , smaller than I expected , and had to buy baskets for extra blankets but them I do have excessive amounts of fluffy prretty blankets😊!! Easy to assemble altho i still havent attached the lid , but suits well enough ! Ideal for small amount of bedding an sheets.

This matched our present bedroom furniture exactly even down to the ball feet, read a lot of reviews and found some which in my own opinion wrong, the goods came before the hour slotted time by a very nice driver and very well packed, instructions were excellent on A4 paper and big drawings to follow step by step.

It would have been a good blanket box! If it came with the feet.which it did not. And what a hassle to send it back. So I just kept it..

Very sturdy chest, will use it for storing bath sheets etc. So easy to put together too. Really like it! This one has restored my faith in Amazon due to the efficiency of customer care Michelle, speed of delivery, and hopefully, a quality product. Thank you Amazon...
