Film is fantastic

I started to watch when realised that this movie is in Spanish, Couldn't return or cancel order after 2 minutes. I am disappointed as I realy want to see this movie .

'The Entity' isn't billed as a found-footage film but it is very much shot in this fashion. It is the story of a group of university students who go in search of a film, not realising that watching the film makes them available to a being that means them no good.Although this idea might sound familiar this film does have its own story. The issue is that it's not communicated to the audience very well. The footage that the students take gets in the way of the story as it's all shaky-cam. It would have been better to leave this aspect out as it was not needed nor used to advance the plot in any way. There's lots of running and screaming (seriously - lots) which seems to be used just to get the cast from one location to another. The cast have a varying ability to bring to life effectively the amount of screaming attributed to them. Sometimes it is very forced which spoils the mood. And there is a particular method used to kill the characters which is overused and unfortunately tips over into farce towards the end.The saving grace, and the only thing that elevated this film from 2 to 3 stars is the twist ending which was handled reasonable well.If you're not aware, this is a Spanish language film with English subtitles, and while I don't mind subtitles I found them a bit difficult to deal with this time as the characters speak so quickly that the subtitles flash on and off too quickly.

Really quite enjoyed this once it got going, it's a good watch.

Usual thing too predictable?!!! Too predictable & quite boring! 😴😴😴

There are some atmospheric parts in the earlier segment of the film - not right at the start, but when the students start researching these videos. Unfortunately that's about it for the positives. Something it has in common with too many other found footage films is when things start happening it only succeeds in reminding you how much more potential it had when nothing happening.As for the opening montage, while many found footage films claim to be based on actual events, watching videos submitted by people with usernames referring creepypasta and slenderman is the biggest "hoax" sign you could possibly have.

5 stars for service, price, and condition. I haven't watched the film yet, but the disc itself is immaculate.

It said it was in English, it wasn't. Subtitles, not the same, didn't enjoy.Film itself, don't waste your money.
