While his friends are larger than life, Henn is in the background. He is a regular guy. He is the guy to call for help. Hannah is the best friend. She brings the heart and laughs to the party. She has some history that holds her heart back from dating.Henn and Hannah were set up by their friends and had magnetic attraction at first site. They are nerdy, old souls, who are self conscious making get-to-know-you conversations and find wearing glasses smexy.There are plenty of steamy times, some light suspense and a bit of drama before the dreamy ending. I have to admit I had a few tears of joy. THIS story is swoon-worthy.I did listen to the audiobook. John Lane and Lily Reynolds narrate beautifully.A hallmark of this author is the interconnected characters of stand alone stories. I was really looking forward to this fun quirky couple and seeing how they got to their HEA. This is such a beautiful and unique author. If you’ve never read anything by her you are in for a treat. I’ve been reading her since The Club Series and have been a fan ever since. She gives readers an in depth incredible story experience every time. The thing I love most about Lauren is also the thing I hate but I mean that in a good way. This writer always thinks outside the box. She’s not writing the cookie cutter love story for each book she puts out. I love that’s she tries new things and gives unique spins on story lines and characters. You can tell she’s writing for herself and bringing us all along for the ride. With that being said sometimes I totally fall in love (Jonas and Sarah) and sometimes it’s just not my vibe (Josh and Kat). I can say for certain that this was totally my vibe. I loved these two and most of all I loved Henn and his “my wife” attitude from Day 1. He knew Hannah was for him and he was going to get her no matter what. I love that more than anything else in a hero. I don’t want games or questioning. I want my hero to go after his woman with all he has and that’s Henny. This book also may have me reconsidering Reed’s story. I know from the synopsis his story probably wouldn’t be for me but after seeing him more in this story it put a rejuvenated thought in my mind that maybe Reed Rivers will have a story I might like.

Hacker in Love by Lauren Rowe is a work of pure delight to read! It’s the story of Hannah, best friends with Kat who was set up with Hen who is a close buddy ofJosh ( Kat’s boyfriend). For Hen, it was instant love knowing Hannah was the one he would make his wife. Hannah wasn’t hit with same love lightning bolt, but lust hit both of them hard and fast. The journey of Hannah and Hen sure is a bumpy road littered with omissions and half truths by both. Trust and fear also being roadblocks. Lauren Rowe delivers a wonderful HEA . I recognized scenes from some of the books she has written about the the Farady brothers, the Morgan family, 22 Goats rockers, and Reed Rivers. After reading this book, I now need to go back and reread all of her back library of novels. This is a longer story than most, but I am so glad it wasn’t made into a duet or trilogy and was able to read the complete book all at once. This book is also on audible. I highly recommend listening to all of Lauren Rowe’s books.

3.5🌟s! This book is so fun. The characters are nerdy and goofy, just like I like. But I think I’m in the minority here because I didn’t love parts of it. And maybe it’s because this is my first book in this world.Henn is a swoony guy and made out to be a total cinnamon roll, which is, he except for his moral compass. So much lying. And when Hannah’s finally had enough, does he come totally clean. NOPE. Still withholding information from her that matters in a big way. He also hacks into things at the drop of a hat, for others and himself. I didn’t love that he invaded her privacy like that after their first date.But having said that, Henn and Hannah are a super cute couple and this book is SPICY! If you are looking for a book with major chemistry, this is your book.I think if you’ve read all (or at least some!) of the previous books, this book would have a lot more meaning for you. There are A LOT of characters and sometimes I got a little lost with who was whom. For me, it was too long for a insta-love book.But if you’ve read this author before and loved her, you will probably love this one too! I definitely think this is a ME issue.Also, look for trigger warnings or DM me.

I asked the author once if she'd give Henn a story. She said "Why would I, there isn't much there." So I was happy surprised to see this. I loved it so much! Its a fun, swoony, sexy and heartfelt story for Henn and Hannah, and some of the secondary character story/insights really added to it for series readers! Highly recommend reading The Club series and all that follow first. You will appreciate this story much more if you do. Thanks to the author for hearing her readers and bringing Henny to life! I have every series book and this series is one of my all time favorites!

It was almost too cute. A lot of movie references but the spice was great. I had to Google some of it 😅🫣 . It's a sweet love story hea a hint of darkness like a blimp but it falls into the story line great .

If you love Lauren Rowe books, you will love this! It brings back all your favourite characters and revisits events from the Seattle/LA Faraday-Morgan-Reed Rivers Universe. And if you haven't read Lauren's other books, this is a great place to start. It can be read as a standalone and tells the story of 2 adorable geeks who seem perfect for each other.. but there are some twists! Henn sees his hacking as his super-power and has developed his own moral code about how to use this super-power. Unfortunately, his moral code doesn't necessarily agree with the moral code of 'ordinary' non-hacker people. And he can be very secretive with Hannah, which doesn't work well with developing trust.I've always loved the character of Henn. He is funny & quirky. In other books or films him & Hannah would both be the goofy sidekicks so it's amazing that they've got their own book! They feel more real & relatable than some of the billionaire super good-looking characters.If you are new to Lauren's books there are so many characters, teasers & events in here for her other books. Some might say 'spoilers' but in Lauren's own words (in the acknowledgements at the end of the book) 'we might all be at the same party, but we'll surely experience it differently, because we're all the main characters in our own stories!'Reading this book has made me immediately go back to Captain & Ball Peen Hammer - 2 of the books that cross over with the timeframe. To experience the party from other characters' points of view. (And what a party it is with a full week if wedding festivities in paradise!) I love the Morgan Family the most! Especially Keane & Maddy. So lots of overlap here because Hannah is Maddy's big sister! Enjoy!

This couple brings the spice and bite! Sheesh…there is some hot lovin between these two.As we know with a Lauren Rowe story, we will always get the sexy times that we expect, however, we also always get a little life lesson and instruction and in Hacker in Love, we get a lesson on the benefits of full disclosure, the downside of jumping to conclusions and the necessity of learning to love ourselves for our individual uniqueness. All done with this author’s special brand of humour and wit.A worthy addition to the LR bookcase.

What I love most about this book is all the conversations the characters have, you really get to know them as they interact with each other. I also enjoyed that they talked stuff out, the good and the bad - they were not afraid to talk to each other at all.Henn & Hannah were made for each other, it was insta-geek love and I loved how smitten Henn was from the beginning. They both fell hard for each other and really connected on so many levels but both held back on their deepest secrets. The whole relationship is laid out in this book and I love how it shared a timeline with other couples from the same world. I haven't read any of the other books but I don't think this book will spoil my enjoyment if I go back and read the others, however I think I did miss out on seeing lots of tiny moments click into place as Henn & Hannah interacted with the others.Henn is such a sweetheart, he will do anything he can to help out his friends, a total geek - so attentive in many ways but also a little oblivious in others. He is a hacker extroidaire who uses his powers for (mostly) good, there were some creative uses of his 'powers' throughout the book. His devotion to making Hannah his forever was swoon-worthy.I didn't realise just how long this book was, but it kept me hooked from beginning to end.* Duel POV* Insta-geek attraction* Standalone

I adored this book.Having read every other book, that came before and knowing all the moving parts, I’m so grateful to get an insight on Hen & Han.I just adore them, their buzz, chemistry and love is precious.Thank you for this book Lauren
