A fantastic mini tripod with incredible value
I owned a Manfrotto PIXI Mini tripod for about 3 years. It was great for my iPhones and small mirorless cameras without a heavy lens cage or other Accesories. However in time my setup got upgraded, I started to use a regular tripod for my Videos but I was missing a good mini tripod. After doing some extensive research I landed on this ifootage Cobra 2 and boy I was right to get it.The quality of the materials used to build this sturdy tripod is stellar. Just by holding it you instantly get the impression that it will securiely hold a heavy payload. The quick release mechanism is a plus especially if you consider also getting the K5 fluid head which by the way has a fantastic value. I also got it, waiting to deliver tomorrow. The only thing that I’m missing at this point is the monopod ( you can actually buy the monopod with the cobra 2. It comes that way but if you got the cobra 2 separately like I did you can by only the monopod extension)Bottom line, I love the quality, the sturdiness and the compatibility getting from ifootage a truly modular experience.I’m using it to hold a Panasonic GH6 + small rig Cage, 5inch monitor w battery and a Sigma 18-35 lens. No issues.

These are heavy duty and make no mistake. Probably the best.
I had no idea if these would be as good and sturdy as I thought they would be, but they are and every bit better than I had expected. I did order a few of them because they are exceptionally well made.

Awesome Desktop Tripod 100% Worth It
I needed a tripod that could hold me DSLR (Sony A series) and a medium/small sized lens. However, it was cumbersome to use my full-sized Tripod and extend / lean it's leg onto my desktop. So I went it search of a small desktop tripod that could get fairly close (low down) to the desk. This tripod fit the bill ! I had to look through ton of options, but this iFOOTAGE tripod does the job. I like that it's nearly all metal, and feels substantial. The legs stay firmly in place until you move them, and the rubber footpads provide grip and stability. The ball head give good options for positioning your camera. I don't have a super long lens on my camera, but if I did I think this would hold well and have no tipping issues. The screw at the top of the ball head is the larger size (I don't know the standard dimensions for those). Thankfully, the quick release head that I attached to the top can compensate both standard screw sizes. But just a heads up that it's the larger of the two screw sizes. In addition there is a mount screw on the bottom of the tripod, so it looks like you could attach a head there for an additional positioning.

As a tripod, this thing is rock solid. In fact, it may be overkill for many people.
I've used this tripod on multiple occasions. The durability and build quality is really something to behold. IFOOTAGE makes solid products overall and this one fits pretty dang well into their portfolio. If you need something that's durable, medium weight (for its size), and stability, you really can't go wrong. That said, there are some nits:The footprint of the tripod is pretty small so it's not stable on soft surfaces such as carpet. It works, just don't expect it to take any lateral forces well. And the feet are a bit to short to lump bean bags on them. While light for its size, it is still beefy and solid. The "quick release" top is a bit of a pain. Once it's on, it's REALLY on but after you figure it out, it's not all that bad. Just remember, push down on the red collar, pull up and out on the top.Congrats to IFOOTAGE on a solidly-made product. Definitely worth the investment. This is something that will last and last probably for much of your career. Especially if you're old like me. ;)

This iFootage tripod goes perfect with the Anker 4k Projector!
Was looking for a stand for the Anker 4K Laser Projector. I looked at several and did not think any were robust or stable enough to hold up this projector that is taller than most with a high center of gravity. Once I found the iFootage tripod I was pretty sure from other reviews that this would be perfect. I was right. It's great for my application. The tripod is heavy and feels sturdy and robust. The legs can go almost flat which adds to the stability. The swivel and tilt mechanism is solid and holds a given position without having to really torque it down. Once you have the Anker projector mounted which is really easy then you simply put one hand on the projector handle and the other hand on the tightening knob. Aim the projector accordingly and then tighten the knob. Holds its position without any "drift" noted.Pros: Built to last. Sturdy. Holds its position. Easy to aim/lock down the projector.Cons: In terms of my application, it would still be possible to knock this tall projector over, but it would take a direct hit to do so. This is not a limitation of the tripod, just how I am using it.Note: You are likely going to need a table to get your projector high enough off the ground. Probably not useful as a floor mount unless your projector has a fairly extreme keystone function.

Wish that I had bought this tripod first!!
This incredibly well made, sturdy, and easy to operate tripod is the PERFECT desktop tripod for my microphone that I use for Zoom calls and voice overs. The easy release mechanism is simple to use and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The legs fold up for easy transfer to a camera bag or backpack without taking up a huge amount of space. It's worth the extra cash to have a tripod that will last and is expertly balanced so my microphone is no danger of tipping over or falling onto the floor.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

THE Best Little tripod Ever
This tripod is the most sturdy & overbuilt one I have come across - and I looked for a long time for a small sturdy tripod! This tripod will securely hold my [Nikon] D4s with a 70-200mm 2.8 lens. No slippage and no falling over. I cannot recommend this tripod enough!! There is nothing negative to say about this.

Very sturdy
I used this tripod to hold my camera to use as a webcam/face camera, it's very sturdy and quite adjustable because of the rotating ball head. The quick detach is a nice feature, however sometimes it is difficult to detach, but it just may take some getting used to. Overall, I'd reccomend this product, especially for a use case similar to mine.

Know what you are getting.
This is a very solidly built product. The first thing I noticed is the weight of it. It is not your typical tabletop tripod. In truth (see company store on Amazon) this product was not likely ever designed as a tabletop unit but succeeds exceptionally well when used correctly. What I mean by all this is that the tripod was actually designed as a tripod base for a monopod and as such they are sold together as a single product. As for stability I would not endorse using it in the tallest/narrowest leg position. The footprint becomes just too small if you are using anything larger than a phone or gopro. This tripod will easily handle a heavy load without tipping if set low to the ground. The middle setting that I suspect will be the one I use most seems to hold a FF body and lens quite easily as long as the lens isn't physically super long. I wouldn't mount my body with the 70-200 but I would trust it when mounted with the lens collar to adjust the centre of gravity. The tripod more or less has a built in ball head with a quick release plate of their own design. The only drawback to mounting the camera directly is that there is no isolated panning adjustment on the ball head which means panning and maintaining horizontal position can be a challenge. The easy solution is to mount the head of your choice on the tripod and use the built in ball head a leveling base. This also allows the use of the legs at their widest (most stable) without sacrificing hight.I have also tried attaching the monopod that I currently have to see if they work together and they do. I see myself using the monopod with this which turns out to be an added bonus I didn't plan on. I would not suggest mounting anything heavy on the monopod configuration and walking away from it as some people do but that is my blanket feeling towards all monopod tripod base combinations from any manufacturer. As long as you hold on then this set up is awesome. As an ultra compact tripod it is a little on the heavy side but being designed as a monopod base first explains why. Given it's size compared to others it is on the expensive side and prices like the 'mini' tripods with short leg extensions that are significantly taller when extended. The advantages here are packed physical size is very small compared to the minis, and monopod capability. The built in ball head is actually great when trying to get as low to the ground as possible where other tabletops need a head bolted to the top adding height. So far I would have to say a very well built product that does exactly what it was designed to do. Just remember monopod duty was it's first design function.

Things a Beast but Expensive
This mini tripod is an absolute beast. It's heavier than any I've tried before which helps keep it in place.Holds my microphone, pop filter, shock mount and noise isolation shield with no problem. The tripod combined with a shock mount does an excellent job isolating the microphone from vibrations extremely well. Using it as a microphone stand it's as good as (or very close to as good) as my microphone arm is.I don't have a dslr but I'd bet it'd hold a prerty big camera and lens combo though if it's a big you may neef only use the lower 2 of 3 height adjustments. My only worry is using it for travel which is why I bought it. The weight which makes it so sturdy is a lot to put in your luggage given the measly weight allowances most airlines have. You may find you need to leave something else behind but for most it's probably a good trade off.I hope you found this review helpful.

Mini-tripod: nice design, light and sturdy, easy to use
This is a review for the Mini-tripod (note that there many of the reviews are for different version). I like this a lot. The only reason I can't give it 5* is that it does not quite tilt to 90 degrees - I haven't measured it exactly but I'd say it only goes to about 87 degrees. However, since I'm not going to use it for portrait mode it doesn't matter to me. Also, it may support an iPhone when tilted to the max but it won't support a DSLR with a lens, it will tip over unless you have a very light lens - and I have the Nikon D3500 which is one of the lightest.
