I am a breeder of dachshunds, and have been for over 40 years. I find that they are a very picky breed when it comes to dog food.I have tried numerous foods over the years and have found a lot of times the ones that are for small dogs are actually too big for them to really eat, or they don't like the taste.My dogs love these and the pieces are very small, and easy for them to eat. Seem to be very nutritious and the pricing is great. My dogs are very healthy and have beautiful shiny coats.This is one dog food I'm sticking with!

For average food stool was good. Puppies were on this at breeders but mixed with purina one to put them on better food.

This is what our puppy was fed prior to our adoption of her. She loves it and she is a picky one, especially with training treats. So we use this both for her food and her training treats. We were told by her vet that the crunchy food is good for helping to clean the tartar off her teeth. The small kibble size is perfect for bite. All in all, we are happy with it.
