Shakey
Tower is shaky, and comes apart easily, but nice for organizing the bobbins.

Disappointed ! Not a Fan!
This is a very flimsy bobbin holder. It barely holds the bobbins in place. The 6 pieces do not stay in place securely. Not worth the price paid. There are better bobbin storage options on the market.

Love this bobbin tower
I'm a big fan of any sewing notions developed or promoted by the late Nancy Zieman. This bobbin tower in particular. I love it and have more than one. No more tangled bobbin threads. By wrapping the bobbin thread tight to the bobbin and then inserting into one of the bobbin holders it holds the bobbin tight and no long loose bobbin threads to deal with. Also each row comes apart so you don't need to have the entire bobbin tower with you at all times.

Great bobbin storage
This product holds bobbins and the thread on them in place. Great storage for extra bobbins in a small space.

Really really great
These hold threaded and empty bobbins very securely. No more thread nests from stored bobbins unwinding themselves! I like that each "level" of the Tower can be popped off, so I can take just one or two levels with me to a class, or to a sewing get-together. If I have to put aside a project to finish later, I can collect all the thread and bobbins I was using in with the fabric & pattern & embellishments and store the project. It's so hard to remember which thread I was using last Spring when I had to put a project on the back burner! (Note: I have tons of thread, since I have an embroidery machine.) Anyway, I have two of these towers, and it's all in use! The only thing these are not great for, is when I am done with a thread color, and want to store the bobbin with the spool of thread (because there's too much thread on the bobbin to waste throwing it away, it's better to keep the bobbin ready for the next time I need that color on another project).

These are great!
I was searching through Amazon for something for my bobbins. I had them in a small plastic storage container which worked very well except they always move around and then they unravel in the threads get tangled around each other. I like the idea of the other holders that you put the bobbin with the thread but those were a little expensive to get as many as I would need. So I saw this and order this and I really do like it! Each level comes off on snaps so that you can put your bottoms on and then they snap back onto the base. I just slide the Bob it in with the end of the thread facing inside and I don't have any threads unraveling. The only problem is I ran out of space so I think I'm going to have to order another one.

Store bobbins neatly with easy access to
This has been a blessing in disguise. Neatly hold bobbins in a small amount of space. Most importantly it keeps them from unwinding. To secure the sections from separating I folded a pipe cleaner in half and inserted through the center hole from top to bottom. Now it stays together but still can rotate the sections independently. It's s win-win for me.

Keeps tail end secure
I like that it takes up less room than the usual bobbin boxes. But I find the cons really out weigh the pros for this item. It comes apart very easily especially if you drop it! The bobbins themselves do stay in place also the tail ends are kept tidy. But a major factor that will over time become annoying is that once you lose, dispose of the outer packaging the bobbins are open to the elements. This will eventually lead to seldom used bobbins becoming dusty. I personally will go back to using the usual bobbin storage with lids to keep the cottons clean.

Love it
Fits all my bobbins in and I now have them all in one place and I can see colour cotton easily, only negative is it comes apart easily as it's made out of rubber, it takes standard bobbins ok, any bigger bobbins will reduce the amount you can put in it.

Great invention
But I found the tiers came away quite easily although it wasn't a problem. It does keep all your bobbins in one place but it can difficult in deciphering different thread strengths of the same colour

Not all bobbin fit!
I have the larger M size bobbins but they do not fit in this item!

Sewing machine bobbins only
Ideal for sewing machine threads but no good for any other. I was wanting to store my fly tying bobbins that look the same but they are slightly bigger and dont fit
