This is perfect for anyone. We selected the wider option. As you can see it'll work perfect for a 3.5 foot child or a 5.5 foot teenager. I am a bit larger in frame and I fit comfortably as well.The instructions were easy to follow and the hardward was labeled nicely. The foot rest pulls out just as a sofa sleeper would and then rolls right underneath the chair and then the back of the chair works just a lounge chair does. Pull it all the way forward to release it all the way down and then it just clicks into place.Yes it is harder than a typical bed or couch but we have a twin sized memory foam folded away that we can place on top for sleeping on.I would definitely recommend buying this. Also, they (we purchased 2) were at my door and put together in less than 5 days.

The wood is very cheap, I leaned over the armrest with my elbow the first use and heard the wood just crack and crunch, being im lazy and already put it together and out of the box I won’t return it but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH the $245 price (that’s with the $70 shipping cost) POV I am a small guy so very weak wood to not be able to hold me other than that it’s cute and comfortable just don’t think it’s going to last long, was pretty simple to assemble

For sitting comfortably, this was ideal. When it’s opened to create a guest bed, it was too hard and too narrow for an older adult. This would be great for average-sized boy or girl guests, ages 7 to 16. It’s been useful for reading or watching a movie. The pullout is easy to use and good for stretching out tired legs.

If I could give this - stars I would. It is falling apart after 3 months and little use. Cushions are flat, upholstery is loose looks like we have used it for years instead of 3 months.In its reclined position it can be used as a bed, if your a child. I’m 5’2 and to tall for it.In its upright position it’s in a leaned position but, give zero support to your back and the arms are pointless.Note: picture one is day 1, picture 3 is 3 months later with little use and 1 overnight guest.

This chair has multiple settings for the back (much like a summer lounge chair), and the footrest pulls out from under the chair easily. We got this for our sun to have a place to rest when he visits from college, and he said that it is comfortable! Easy to assemble, easy to adjust, and looks great! We are very pleased.

Nice size buy it came in damaged. After putting it together I noticed it smelled very bad.

Attractive chair and long enough for extra beds when needed. Is a little hard , but not too uncomfortable.Glad that I bought it. Easy to turn into a bed and return to chair.

We got two of these chairs to replace a love seat in a bay window and overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. The chairs are a little firmer than most chairs I've sat in, but I don't mind it at all. They look good and came together pretty easily. I bought two chairs and the reason why I gave this purchase 3 stars was because I was sent the wrong parts with one of the chairs. The sides are symmetrical less a piece of wood that acts like a bumper when pulling out the bottom cushion. I was sent two pieces where the bumpers were on the same side which meant when I put the chairs together, I had one bumper at the back of the chair and one at the front which prevented me from pulling out the bottom. Since the bumper was just screwed in, I just unscrewed the block and put it on the other side so it works just fine now, but nonetheless, I was sent the wrong part and had it been a different part, it would have been a lot more difficult to fix
