Almost as light as wire hangers but not flimsy rather very strong. The velvet coating prevents slick clothing from sliding off, including regular trousers regardless of material (such as leather, polyester or even just plain cotton) and silk ties. Being thin, they occupy almost no space whatsoever, in and of themselves. They are perfect for my requirements and I'm very pleased with them

Finally - a great hanger that is thin and has a great grip. The top hooks are more sturdy than other brands I've used where the top just breaks-off. Really help with closet organization and it makes a difference having all the same type of hanger.

They are great & I've had no issues with the residue coming off onto my clothes. They hold garments really well and they are nice and thin so I was actually able to fit more in my wardrobe than when I was using plastic hangers.
