Dead Quiet
Brill product, used between top of loudspeaker stand and new MDF top plate it will assist in stopping loudspeaker resonance passing through the loudspeaker stand into a suspended timber floor. Use Focal Polipods between MDF top plate and underneath of loudspeaker (No resonance passes from loudspeaker to floor through loudspeaker stand).

Used it to isolate my vinyl record player and other pieces of my modular sound system from vibration. Easy to cut the sheet into smaller pieces using a very sharp pair of scissors. Excellent results.

Good product, it would be nice if thicker. As 25mm of the equates to roughly 10dB reduction.
The product took a while to arrive. It is not cheap, you also need to take into consideration shipping costs almost £10.Not the easiest material to cut neatly in a circle due to elasticity. Used a hot blade to neaten the edges.Managed to double up the thickness for what I required. Very useful on a number of projects.Good level of tackiness.The website could have linked to the product site that confirms optimum weight and performance data.Likely to thin for a lot of projects.

Expensive but worth it
expensive but worth it. Used it all over my hi-end hi-fi system-under cd player, amp,in fact every metal box in the system to damp minute resonances. Sorbothane rings also used as feet under all equipment boxes.If your sound system costs more than say £2k, then buy it.

I needed something to isolate part of my turntable from unwanted vibrations. This stuff is Takky in the best possible way, it is almost adhesive. As D. Trotter would say:- Les bolleaux de le chiene!

Very effective
I used the Sorbothane sheets in a DIY vibration isolation platform I built for my turntable. I had initially used recycled rubber under a sheet of marble, and that worked well, but there was a little murkiness in the bass. I put the Sorbothane between the marble and rubber and really noticed a difference. The lower frequencies became clearer, more articulate. The Sorbothane was by far the most expensive part of the platform, but it really did improve the sound of the turntable.

perfect for using as foam inside keyboard
I added it to my Durgod Venus and my Varmilo Miya Pro keyboards.Both these keyboards already came with foam, which I used as a stencil for cutting out the sorbothane pieces.It sounds SO much better with sorbothane than with the stock foam. 10/10 would keep buying this for any new keyboards.
