Every family with young children should ‘invest’ in proper quality i.e. branded, colouring pens. if you agree this might be the set for you.I’m sure that there are sets of 30 colouring pencils that you can buy at a fraction of the price that I paid for these. But these Stabilo pens are very good. They won’t last forever but last for a relatively long while, possibly years. In particular if you teach your children some disciple about putting caps back on after each drawing session and restrained use when colouring large areas - to allow the ink to redistribute within the pen. It’s also handy that the caps can be attached to the back - which is not always the case. The grip is good though the pens themselves are thin. . We also have the 88-type sets but these 68-type felt tip pens are best for our youngest son. Using them will not fill your room with a chemical smell. And the colours are generally deep and bright. The other benefit of buying a branded set is that after, say 12 or 18 months you can buy a replacement set or single pens and keep the ones aside as spares that haven’t dried out yet so you’ll have a complete set for longer. We have had lots of proof that the Stabilo ink is easily removed by washing as well.

Very disappointed
I am disappointed in these pens as was looking forward to using them. The photos attached show a mix of these pens and and a different make of gel pens. I found that about a third of the pens had dried out and I had to go over it with a gel pen. They were patchy and dragged on the paper. I don't think that I will buy them again. I've put them to one side for my 3 year old grandson to use.

A very good pen
I love these pens and have recently rebought this item, even though the original ones were still going strong. I do these colouring for adult books and have a big collection of pens, both expensive and cheap, for my hobby but these are definitely the ones I like best. A fairly fine tip for small areas but fully up to the job of filling larger areas too. The tops fit neatly on the other end while using, and I even like to neat white stripes on the outsides of the pens.I have pens by Helix, Berol and Crayola etc, all good quality pens, but these are the ones I will buy again and again.

Lovely pens
Arrived quickly and the pens are great. The flow is really smooth. I use them to colour on white paper but have tested on black and they look really effective. I have also used on wood so they are ideal for pyrography colouring. My only issue is that the gold and copper aren't as metallic as I had hoped, they are still nice though. I would recommend buying these rather than the cheaper metallic pens as the cheaper ones seem to have a silver look on all colours after drying.

Beautiful colours but quite dry
Absolutely love these colours. However the silver in my pack seems a little dry and almost as if it’s running out and some of the others seem to be going the same way I expected these to be great for the money spent but a little disappointed

It's definitely worth buying a reliable name.
Liked everything about these. Easy and smooth to colour with. Not too staining, they don't bleed through the paper. Would like to be able to buy more colours but really nice set of pens. A more sturdy case would be useful.

Quality
Great pen set as you would come to expect with Stabilo! Fine addition to my adult colouring set. A little on the wet side even in thicker paper. But then they’re built to last!

Excellent felt pens.
Love this product. Used for mind maps, general thought processing and to make every piece of work I do look impressive. My boss doesn't get it, but it makes me happy! Really clear, good colours and quick writers. Not used for colouring in, more for writing; they're really smooth. Being stabilo I expect them to last a while.
