This is a perfect piece at an affordable price. I wanted a snug piece for my septum with an old school captive bead look that is easy to take in and out. These are way better than captive bead or captive hoops. This size would also look cute in a rook. I wish sleepers made these in 14g 7mm without the ball. 9/32 is truly an underrated size in body jewelry industry

For years i’ve been looking for a captive bead hinge ring and couldn’t find any and some that I did find were super crazy prices then I came along this and bought it a few months ago and still have it in my nose! :)

I ordered two of these. One was defective, but I sent it back and had a replacement within days and now I have two wonderful earrings!I really love these because the ball isn't free; it's attached to the earring. No more chasing the little ball piece around or losing it!!! And then this is hinged too, which makes it so much easier to put in! I will definitely buy more jewelry from this company.Well made and great customer service! Thank you!

Terribly flimsy clasp, always comes loose. Find a better one.

It seemed like decent quality. Bought two infact. Unfortunately, within 2 months one broke. The small clasp piece broke off in the ball and it no longer stays closed.

6 mm 18 ga for upper ear cartilage. Perhaps because this little guy is so small I found it difficult to line up the latching mechanism...it took me forever when most of my other ones have snapped right together. I haven't tried any other sizes for reference. It looks great though, and is exactly what I wanted.
