Thoroughly enjoyed these books, fantastical beings, magic, romance, a little bit sexy. What else could you want! I was captivated by the world of Avalier and my only complaint is that I finished them all too quickly :) but I've swiftly moved on to some of the author's other amazing works to help with the cravings.

A new to me, Author. I really enjoyed the storyline. It was unique and different from anything I’ve read before. The plot was diverse and fast paced. The narration was excellent, too totally enhanced my experience. I definitely read this Author again

This was a truly phenomenal read. Excellent writing. Pacing and truly fantastic characterisation.It also saved me after like 4 crappy reads in a row so there’s that too.I adore all the characters both main and supporting. The romance was unique because of the kings motivations. Such a huge emphasis on having an heir isn’t someone usually covered in romances but worked very well in this case.I literally don’t have a bad thing to say and I can’t wait for the next book (which incidentally I came across first, but alas is not released yet)10/10 would recommend.

Well somehow I managed to read the entire book in just a few hours, I mean how did that happen!? I have to say it was a very easy read full of fast paced plot, a strong female lead and some lovely banter between MCs which will always be my kryptonite. I think the only thing that stopped me from giving it a solid 4 was the fact that at times I felt it went too quickly and I would have liked to have seen more. One of my faves didn't get much page time and then bam. But apart from that it was a very enjoyable read.

Really enjoyed this start to the series. There were parts that had me laughing, crying & in shock it could happen or be suggested. Looking forward to the next book now. Thank you 😊

Pleasantly surprised with this book. My first book by Leia Stone and will not be the last.Refreshingly not sex driven for a romantasy novel, but driven by plot and angst and feelings. I loved that about The Last Dragon. Had me questioning choices which I love, it means I'm engaged to the story and the characters.Haven't written a review in ages and felt the need to for this when I saw the book slighted for 'unspicy spice' and I thought that's an excellent category title, as I'm sick to death of 'spicy spice' written badly and for the heck of it lol.

A nice wee time filler. I liked this book and will definitely being reading book 2. I love that the bad guy is a mad human queen who loves war machines. Abit different from magic on magic.Both lead characters were brilliant even the secondary characters were well thought out. I can't wait to read book 2 see what the Elvin king is like.All in all a good read 😎 can't beat a good quicky here and there 😂

Light, with fantasy and with a little romance just what you need for a light afternoon.The story is easy to understand, you can picture It quickly but in some ocations was really fast losing the oportunity to develop certain parts of the story.

This is by far one of my most favorite fantasy reads, not just this year, but all time. Leia Stone really knows how to keep a reader guessing while giving them just enough angst to keep them interested. I can't thank her enough for how Amazing a read it was. The story was definitely a favorite of mine. The idea of taking all the available and fertile women of the kingdom to become the queen???? Without making it a competition?? WONDERFUL! Nothing against a little competition, but this focused more on him and why he made the decisions he made. The characters, I could kiss them(if they were real of course). The Dragon King is brave, smart, hopeful, and romantic, but he's also willing to listen to others and just do what he wants as a King. I felt he did take a little bit of a back step whenever big decisions needed to be made that had to do with just him, so I was a little disappointed in him then. But our heroine is by far the saving character of the book. She is BRAVE, TRUE TO HERSELF, OUTSPOKEN, and JUST LOVELY! She wants to be a woman without being known for just having children......can't say I blame her, but she stands up for everything she wants and even gets stuff she didn't say out loud was her goal. All in all, this is the AMAZING start to a series that can and will stand the test of time, at least in my books, can't wait to read the next one!

Leia is an amazing author. The first book was kind of sad. Hopefully everything turns out great
