I love this brush it is great for dogs and cats. I am a groomer and wouldn’t want to use any other brush.

All JW products are good! I got this one as an add on special and what a great deal. This goes through the coat easily and pulls off that shedding hair. If you dog is not big on slickers, then this is a great brush to use. The pins glide nicely through the coat. I have long haired chihuahua and a medium Pomeranian. Anyone who has a Pom understands that undercoat and how it can clot up. He lays and lets me brush him without issue. Other brushes pull on his coat and up and off he goes. It just glides like butter through my Chi’s hair. Take a large tined comb and it pulls the collected hair out without issue (of course the one I use is also a JW item). I would definitely recommend this brush or any other JW Product. They have great thought process put into their products. The tools I keep going back for have “JW” on them. It’s not because “JW” is on them, rather because they are a good product and have lasted for years.

When the pins began to break off the old brush, I ordered a duplicate to take its place. It my (and my dog's) favorite brush. The pins are rounded and flexible, so they don't scratch, pull, or cut into delicate skin. Long hair is easily removed, and the brush is comfortable to hold.

I like this brush. It works ok. Seemed at tad bit sharp to the touch but my dog enjoyed being brushed and he's a little 5 lb puppy so it must feel fine to him. My only complaint is about the smell . The smell of the plastic the brush is made with is very strong. So strong that I'm noting it. I washed it hoping it would go away but no luck. I'm sensitive to chemical types of smells so it gives me a headache. Other than that , it's great.

Great price! My sheltie doesn't mind me using this brush on him, as it is pretty gentle. Sadly the hair doesn't remain in the bristles as well as I had hoped. Good idea to brush outside with this one.

Great brushes and I have to bribe and chase down my fur babies to groom them. They don't mind this Bruce as much as others I have spent a fortune on. All in all I stick with this one for sure? I got 3 and 2 are still in the package so they are very durable as well.

The dogs and I love this brush - this is our second one or spare. One for downstairs grooming and one for grooming on the deck where the hair can fly away. The pins are not sharp as I've found in some pin brushes. So far, none have fallen out of the first brush I bought six months ago. Oh, how do you know a dog loves their brush? They lay down, close their little eyes and kinda melt :-)

My dog loves this brush! It’s durable and it detanlges her hair without too much pulling. It also serves as a distraction while I blow dry her. She chews on the handle, which is surprisingly very durable, while I blow dry her. Great price and great quality.

I was a little concerned when I read the reviews about the brush being too big. I have a Maltese and it works perfectly fine. I actually like that it is a little larger, as ir makes it quicker for me to brush while blow drying. My dog loves this brush, very smooth pins.

I have a Standard Poodle, and this brush was big enough to effectively cover a lot of area, and got his loose hair out quickly. He didn't mind the brush at all either. It's got rounded stainless steel pins that don't prick the skin or pull at his hair. And the grip's sturdy and comfortable, which makes it easier on me.All in all, this brush gets a thumbs up from both human and dog.

Works really well but i was surprised by how large the brush actually was. My dog is 14 lbs so a smaller brush is needed for his legs. There is a strong plastic smell as soon as you open the package. I reccomend washing the brush before use to get rid of the odor.

Works well and is a good price, but it’s bigger than expected. I’d recommend it for 30lbs dogs and up.For smaller brushes, shoppers drug mart actually sells similar ones (made for humans but the same design) for $4 which is better suited for small dogs.

This is a good sturdy brush. The handle is easy to grip, the pins are rounded and smooth, overall a good product. It would be better used for a larger dog than mine, also a dog with longer hair not curly. My dogs are Bichon Frise so this product is not really practical for them except for their tails, but this product would be fine for a better suited breed.
