A bamboo ladle with good depth

I've been using the ladle for a few dishes and so far, it's been great! The length of the neck, depth of the scooping part (not sure if this has an official name?) and the small, hook on the end are all fantastic. The wood feels pretty good - nothing crazy fancy, but also feels like more expensive than what it costs. I really like the hook on the end to ensure it stays put on the end of a pot. One small criticism I would give is the width of the neck - I was hoping it would be a bit thicker, as it does seem fairly thin for longterm use. But otherwise, great value for a ladle!

I love the look of this wooden spoon. It does appear to be crafted out of one piece of wood; I cannot make out any joints or seams anywhere. The listing title does seem to be a bit confused about whether it is bamboo or olive wood, but I think it is bamboo. It is very light. The ladle holds about 1/3 cup of liquid. We currently only have a metal ladle, so this is great to have when scraping the bottom of non-stick cookware. I'm very happy with this and can definitely recommend it.

We eat lots of soups and sauces in our house, so we tend to go through ladles quicker than you would think. They get broken, or the finish starts to wear off the handle or the bowl part, depending on what it's made of, so I wanted to give a wooden ladle a try. I would say this is a medium size ladle. It doesn't scoop as much as some of our other ladles, but it still works great. I love the hook on the end, so it doesn't fall into the pot, and I can hang it on the side when I'm not using it. It's actually really attractive for a serving utensil, and it seems really well made. It's smooth and thick, but it's not too weighty so it's very comfortable to hold. It cleans up easily and I hope it lasts a long time. I love it!

I got this hoping for a good bamboo ladle. I always love to get items made of bamboo because they are generally higher quality and less likely to have mold develop. However, I find the handle for this ladle to be extremely thin and I don't how long this will last when in use. I anticipate it breaking

What a quaint looking, yet very high quality and very usable ladle. This ladle is smooth and deep, and works perfectly for serving up soups and stews. I think this ladle is a great value for money.
