This scent titled “R” by Russell Wilson has a scent that is fairly light, slightly bright, and powdery until the dry down. Front the initial spray, I smell very juicy pear notes, wrapped in a thin layer of lavender. This pear scent is almost similar to green apple, but comes across very sophisticated, not adolescent.As this scent drys down, those bright juicy pear notes stay strong, and smell so good, others may come closer to investigate what you are wearing!!! In this dry down, the very back end of this fragrance gives off a very clean and elegant base, that the pear scent rebounds from. It’s odd, but the base smells like an expensively wrapped box from a department store. It’s just very elegant, and holds the fruitiness of the pear very well. I think these base notes do come from the advertised Vetiver, and Patchouli, however they are extremely muted to the point you really need a strong sense of smell to make out these two components.I think this wonderful fragrance would work best in spring and summer, or warmer year round climates.Will work well for a sort of formal affair as well!

The perfume comes as a pair marked as 'R' for the male version and 'C' for the female version.This is a review of the R version that I tried and gave the C to my own female significant other to test.A general statement first: I am not sure what the designers were thinking but this perfume bottle will not stand by itself but can stand when paired with its significant other perfume version (there is a magnet to hold them in an embrace).This perfume itself is not bad but quite mild in fact. The overall experience is good and I could smell notes of bergamont and some tea but the effect is quite good on the whole. The perfume will be a milder of version of Drakkar Noir, for an approximation. The effect lasts for our four hours. So this is clearly an evening perfume as its effects will wear off by night.I think this product by itself deserves high marks for its extremely bold design but not so much for the content inside. I think four stars are deserved for the sheer unusualness of it all. I say buy both R & C together for a couple's gift.

The media could not be loaded.  First of all, the bottle is stunning. Modern and minimalist, it has a Quality feel and look.The fragrance itself is warm and sensual. It’s going to remind you a little bit of an oud, but the dry down is fresher.It’s a likable fragrance, this isn’t one that is going to be polarizing. That makes it a good gift or a blind buy.It’s presented by power couple Russell, Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks football star, and Ciara, Grammy winning recording artist.Made in the USASo once again, as a gift, it covers all the bases. If you like football, music, impossibly adorable families, or just want to promote products that are made in the USA, this likable fragrance has it all.

Who thought of this container. I understand that as a set they would link together, but individually this one tips over if you blow on it. That aside, it is a nice scent, not overwhelming.

I'm afraid this cologne/perfume did not work for me. It's really strong and dizzying and the bottle looks like you know what and doesn't even stand up. I don't know what Russell Wilson was thinking! No, this is a hard pass.

I was intrigued by the notes in this fragrance. I was hoping to get my husband a more fresh scent for him to try. Not to mention the bottle looked very interesting/cool. Unfortunately it ONLY looks cool. Functionality wise its a nightmare. I can't place this bottle anywhere unless I strategically prop it up on something or let it lay on its side. The design (in my opinion) should be made to where it can still be placed on a shelf out of reach. The bottle is an annoyance. Thankfully the lid fits snug on the bottle, and even if laying on its side we have not experienced any leakage. Its a risk I don't think I want to take though so I try to prop it up wherever its placed. All that aside, I do really like the scent and so does my husband. Musky but also sweet and fresh at the same time. I just can't get over how annoying this bottle is.

I so wanted to love this cologne, so I ordered it for my husband and figured if he didn't like it one of the boys could have it. The entire family unanimously said no to this one.First off, the scent itself reminds me of something from the 80s but I can't quite put my finger on the exact scent. Secondly, there are two problems with the bottle. First question from the hubby was if it vibrates.... I'll just leave that there. Second thing noted is that no matter what you do, it will not stand upright like they show in the pictures.

I ordered this perfume for my husband. He can never have enough perfumes ;)This fragrance comes nicely packaged, sealed and well protected. There's plenty of information about the ingredients on it, like bergamot, black tea, musk...all mixed in this 50 mL contemporary designed bottle. It is a little tricky to place the bottle in an upright position, I guess it is supposed to compliment with the corresponding version of the perfume, the feminine one (I just ordered the masculine version).About the scent, simply, I love it, and my husband likes it a lot, too. So masculine, it is very intriguing, nothing overpowering or too strong. The smell stays for a good lenght of time. I think it could be better for nights, though I am not really an expert.I was pleasantly surprised and my hubby too!
