While comfortable this is only a good mat if you are going to use it lightly, those who are active on their mats should find something more rugged because the cork will not hold up. Mine was badly frayed within 30 days.

Used my new mat today for my vinyasa class and loved it! No slipping, no weird smell! I hope it can hold up for a long time!

This mat began to come apart after the first two uses. The edges are cracking and peeling back and the cork is rippling up off the adhesion. Really bummed. I wanted to love it. It is soft and the cork could be such a better option than the standard rubbery stuff.

unboxed it today, and will return it today. The material seems good but perhaps the finishing of cork-rubber adhesion is imperfect.
