This certainly does the job. It’s a basic, robust problem. I can’t comment on the scent : didn’t notice that at all. It did have a somewhat anti-scent scent which was not at all attractive.

Tried many products but this one seemed to help blockages . Would i consider buying again most definitely.

OK i cant fault the product or how effective it is at unblocking drain pipes because I have never had an actual blockage however, there are many similar products on the market claiming to unblock pipes and they are probably as effective as each other. What I will say about Buster is they are easy to use and will help to keep pipes running freely. The best way to clear pipes is to undo them by hand and clean in hot soapy water in a bowl remembering how to reassemble them. I have used this product before and then undone the plastic pipes and found them to be narrowed by grease and gunk. Also I am not sure about the enviromnental impact of using these products. If you follow the manufacturers recommendations of using this stuff weekly in ALL of your plugholes, which in my case would be 6 then I would soon be broke. It would work out at nearly £7 a week-dont think i will be doing that.

This was really difficult to get into the drain as it all got stuck around the plug hole. After much prodding with a skewer and a teaspoon, 20 mins later it started fizzing and smelt terrible. After running hot water down the drain for a good 5 mins or so the sink was completely free of blockage! I would use it again but it is a faff.

Okay so I followed instructions and I think there must of been some sort of chemical reaction as my whole flat filled up with chlorine gas... The sink was literally smoking like an old chimney and me and my cat couldn't breathe so had to evacuate for a day. When I came home the smoke / gas was gone but everything now smells of chlorine (the whole flat smells like 1000000000 dirty cat litter trays because of this product) (ammonia smell) the sink was blocked but further back than the U Bend thing so yes amazon nearly killed me for the low price of £3:99 (just hire a plummer so you don't kill yourself with chlorine gas) days on the back it can cause a fire and I feel like it basically did but inside the pipes of my sink. Get a plumber not this.

Really great does the job

When ordering this product the description said, in brackets, pack of 3. I received only 1. When you try to contact the seller, the only thing it allows is to return the product. I want to keep the product as I have used it before and am pleased with it. It works very well to clear blockages. I think the description is misleading and should state that the price is for one bottle only.Hence only 4 stars

I don't know why the review asks to rate the scent! Don't inhale the fumes intentionally and have the window open! If you have any food trapped in the sink u-bend, there will be some fizzing and spluttering as the chemicals react and breakdown the blockage. It works, but the smell is pretty unpleasant! It goes away after an hour or two of ventilation and rinsing, and then you have a less smelly drain that actually flows!
