These things are good!
My wife and I took a punt on these as we have a 5 week old who makes a racket in her sleep that’s akin to sleeping in the middle of a farmyard. We both used them for the first time last night and for the first time in 5 weeks I ended up in a deep sleep, they blocked out so much of little one’s noise. I was worried they may be uncomfortable to sleep in, I’m a side/front sleeper, but after a while I didn’t notice them. They’re so comfortable. I don’t know how effective they’d be if your other half snores like a traction engine, but for my needs they’re spot on.

Good value high quality ear plugs
I bought these earplugs quite a long time ago now but thought I'd give them a long trial before leaving a review.I'm still using them quite a few months after I bought them which should indicate that this is a good product. Initially, I found them rather uncomfortable as I tend to sleep on my side; however, I suspect a lot of the problem was user error as I had a tendency to ram them into my ears so they were more or less touching my brain!I later saw the useful tip somewhere of pulling the top of the ear up when inserting or removing them to straighten the ear canal so I'm now able to fit them rather gently and remove them in similar manner without hurting my ear. This also means they form a much better seal and block further noise. They won't block every sound but certainly reduce it quite significantly. I find I have to turn the alarm up a notch when using the plugs so I don't accidentally wake up at lunchtime instead of my intended time. The carrying case they are presented in is quite nice too. I always make a point of cleaning them with water after use to avoid ear infections and have not suffered any such complications to date.

Comfortable ear plugs.
These are great. Easy to insert in the ears to get a good fit and easy to do. Although I love my Hubby very much , I was nearing the end of my tether as he sounds like a hibernating Bear when he is asleep. There is still a small amount of sound that gets through, oddly enough, even though he sleeps to my left, I can hear a faint sound to my right. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, so my sleep tends to be very broken and I am often awake well after Hubby. These ear plugs so far, seem to be helping a lot. Any breakthrough sounds are taken down to a seemingly tolerable level and all I tend to hear is a slight swishing sound, like faint white noise which is quite soothing. I sleep on my back and my side and have found them to be very comfortable. The upshot is, mercifully I seem to be getting more restful sleep which has been very elusive of late. They are very small and unobtrusive and appear to be very well made. The little tab makes it very easy to fit and remove. I recommend these highly. I forgot to add that I can still hear my alarm without a problem and have not overslept. Zzzz

Initially brilliant but became so painful to use
EDIT: I'm so sad that after just a short while of using these ear plugs they have become unbearable to wear - it's not the shape or feel of them (they are 'comfortable' and stay in well), but something else has started to cause acute stinging and itching almost as soon as I put them in. I had this years ago with yellow foam earplugs and was advised it may be the colour dye used. I'm not sure how that fits with my experience of these given the part touching your ear is not coloured. However, I simply cannot use them anymore as the pain wakes me or I pull them out in the night. Such a shame.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Honestly I’m so impressed. I purchased Senner SleepPro after finding my usual earplugs had been discontinued, and they are brilliant - so easy to put in / take out, comfortable to sleep with, cancel even more sound (low level snoring, heavy footed upstairs neighbours, and general outdoor noise) than my old ones but importantly don’t stop me hearing my alarm. It’s a shame they can’t be immersed in water but hopefully will be easy enough to keep clean. So far they’re well worth the higher price tag.

Worlds lightest sleeper - these helped but don’t expect silence
After 4 months in a new house closer to train tracks than I realised on signing my tenancy agreement, and regularly waking up 4/5 times throughout the night, these have helped reduce that to just once a night - sometimes all the way through with an added nytol!I have always shied away from earbuds as I have small ears, and am a side sleeper. It’s taken some getting used to, but the earbuds do fit without being too uncomfortable. That said, I wouldn’t call them “comfortable” but “endurable” for a better nights sleep.Although, they have actually fallen out some nights (which has led to some of the wakings!)The buds have a small hole in the middle, which is convenient for still being able to hear my alarm, but unfortunately does not drown out my partner’s snoring, or sirens blaring on the main road (London!) so if that’s what is preventing you getting sleep, these are probably not the most suitable earbuds for you. They seem to help most with low loud noises from outside (e.g. trains!)Do love the convenient little pack they come in, very handy for popping in my bag to stay at my boyfriends.TLDR; 3 stars as they do help with low-pitch noises like trains but aren’t that amazing at blocking closer/higher-pitch sounds like snoring and traffic.

Excellent sleeping ear plug
I've been using q-zone ear plugs for years. They worked well for me: comfortable and reduced the noise level sufficiently to allow me to sleep well, but able to be woken when you would want to be. Unfortunately, they did tend to deteriorate every few months - the rubber would split and the inserts would continually fall out. Then I could no longer source them and It's taken quite a while to find good replacements. These Senner SleepPros are an improvement on a number of levels:they are just as comfortablethey're a bit quieter because you can fit them in deeper, partly because the confidence from the fact that its easier to remove them, due to the small 'handle' on the sidethey appear to last longer - they're designed in a way that the plastic inserts can't fall out.So, all in all an even better ear plug and a nice travel case to put them in.
