Got this to store some .308 but found that they will sit extremely snug, borderline would not fit. Something to keep in mind

The case itself is absolutely worth the amazing price and is worth 5 stars. Name brand cases cost more than twice as much. I deducted a star solely on the fact that the largest round I could fit in it were .223s. By fit, I mean not have to shove into the hard foam and then fight to get out shy of using pliers. If the foam were a bit more accommodating and allowed for easier pulling out of rounds just a bit larger than just .223's I'd go 5 stars! I may think of a way to heat up metal and widen out the holes a bit to accommodate 30.06 and 45-70 rounds as .223s are so small it's just easier to keep them in the small boxes I buy them in lol.

It's a very hard plastic ammo case and clips quite tight. 308 shells fit up to the flare of the round and fit pretty tight. As it states, it will hold 77 rounds. It's got a couple spots for dropping a padlock on it if you choose to do so. I cannot attest to the waterproof claim as I'm not about to toss it into water to test it out but judging by how tight it clips, I would wager that it is watertight. I like the case for how bulky it is because it seems very solidly built. I wouldn't mind a couple more of these to have around.
