The finish on the paint is amazing and looks like it should last some time. Very easy to assemble, especially the no-tools construction. The fully adjustable fitting you just twist, move, and reverse twist to re-position, clever idea! I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend.

This bird station is strong and well made the only fault I would say is the joints are a bit loose that makes it sway so I put some insulation tape on the joint to tighten it up and its fine

Easy to put together and looks good. It's reasonably sturdy as long as you push it well into the crowd. Not squirrel proof, but they have to eat too!

First thing to say is that the product supplied is not by Hamble Redwood as claimed. It is a brand called 'Nature's Market'. I'm not particularly bothered by that as many suppliers sell products of similar basic quality, but I have seen this Nature's Market product available from other retailers at under £10, so this was not a well-priced purchase.On the plus side the product (apart from the finial) is nicely finished in a bronze hammered-effect gloss enamel that gives a smart finish for a moderately priced item. The finial is a black plastic plug to act as a rain stopper in the top tube.On the down side, and this is a pretty big down side, none of the three spiral attachment hooks will fit around the pole. It seems like the thick gloss paint finish has compromised the close fitting parts. I might be able to force the parts to fit but that would certainly damage the paint. This is a shame as its a pretty major flaw for the pole accessories not to fit.

Easy to assemble ( I always use a silicone spray on/ in the joints to help prevent any rusting) the pointy end went into the ground just fine using a rubber mallet and it looks good .Birds are a no-show so far - they'll be sorry when the winter comes!

As with most reviewers, I am pleased with this. It is sturdy, attractive and the birds like it. I noticed people were asking the same question though as I am now. Can you buy extension pieces? No, it seems. Can you buy any extra bits - it seems not. I don't understand this as it is a good product and the makers could make more money by selling extra poles, squirrel baffles, extra hooks etc. If the squirrels find it, I will have a problem. I have looked at getting extensions or baffles from other companies and it seems other poles are generally a larger circumference. But because the feeding is not very tall, without an extension piece a baffle would not be far enough off the ground to baffle a squirrel anyway. Good value for money if you don't have squirrels I would say.

Erected it on my area where I feed the birds....they took to it straight away!!Very substantial but looks elegant. We had some ferule pidgeoms on it last night....about 7 of them....it shool a bit when they landed and took of but otherwise was perfect.....pity as I hate those pidgeons111

Abbiamo comperato questa mangiatoria per fare un regalo. E' stato apprezzato. Si tratta di un prodotto simpatico e ottimo per decorare i giardini o le terrazze mantenendo un tocco di eleganza.MOTIVI PER ACQUISTARE IL PRODOTTO:-Facile da fissare e da montare-Leggero, ma resistente. Nonostante venti molto forti, abbiamo notato che non si è mai spostato dal punto in cui lo abbiamo fissato-I ganci nella parte più alta consentono di agganciare palline di grasso e semi per gli uccelli: vederli mangiare, quando avranno preso confidenza col vostro giardino, sarà divertentissimo-Vaschetta per l'acqua: se i pennuti del vostro giardino sono coraggiosi, la useranno non solo per bere ma anche per lavarsi.CONSIDERAZIONI E CONSIGLI:Consiglio questo prodotto a chi ama decorare il proprio giardino e anche alle famiglie con bambini: insegnare loro ad amare gli animali anche attraverso gesti semplici come offrire dei semi è un insegnamento per la vita. In più, il tempo trascorso insieme per montare la mangiatoia e per osservare gli animali che le si avvicineranno costituirà un ricordo prezioso che si porteranno nel cuore.Un ottimo prodotto.
