The media could not be loaded.  Assembly is required! Instructions are similiar to IKEA/ Sauder products. READ THEM. I assembled the lamp by myself and it took just under 30 minutes. The marble base is heavy (a good thing).READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!Assemble the arm of the lamp before securing it to the marble base.***Important*** the largest metal washer goes between the arm stem and TOP of the marble base (picture #3). You must unscew (counterclockwise) the big bolt in the bottom of the arm stem so it long enough to fit through the marble base and attach the big screw nut.UNDER the base the order on the blot is: small washer, flexible washer, then screw on nut. Use the offset wrench to tighten the nut. Before final tightening... make sure the arc of the arm goes across the WIDEST part of the base (picture 4). The hole in the base is NOT in the center it is closer to one edge (picture 4). The lamp shade must be assembled as well but is easy to do...under 5 minutes. After the arm is attached to the base, then attach the shade, then put in the bulb (60 watt- included in box). The lamp is an excellent size and fits perfectly in the corner while being centered over the table, I have the adjustable arm at maximum length (about 4 feet). You can adjust the head of the lamp just above where the shade connects so it will be level.... or you can angle it if you wish. The foot pedal works with a light step on it. It looks much better than I thought it would and feels very sturdy. Surprisingly- I am extremely happy with this purchase. I reccomend this product.

The instructions are a bit confusing. But lay out everything, identify each part, take your time and it’s pretty easy. The lamp is very tall and heavy so be careful. Especially when opening the box. Over all the assembly was easy, I did it alone! Once complete, it’s looks so beautiful!! One of my favorite Amazon purchases!

It gives my apartment a touch of class, looks terrific and feels solid.I thought the shade was too large and emailed customer service (easy to locate them on Amazon) to see if I could exchange it for a smaller one. They replied immediately and said if they had another size they would send me one for no charge, but it's the only size it comes in.The base is also larger than it appears on Amazon. Living in earthquake country, I like the larger base. My advice is to check the measurements as opposed to relying on the photos.One of the best features is the adjustability: the uppermost section of the arc can extend or retract, making the lamp hang lower or higher. Leave yourself the option to adjust and don't tighten the hardware too much on that section during assembly.The assembly instructions were ... well, I've encountered worse instructions than these. Having read others' comments really helped and I sort of knew what to watch out for. It was packaged and shipped really well, and the sellers included some protective pieces that I wouldn't have known were not part of the assembly, had I not read those comments. The sellers just forgot to put that in the instructions.Bottom line: I really love it.

I wish this was in stock so I could buy it again for myself. I bought this for my mom as a gift.I love the height, the look and most of all how it illuminates an entire living room.

We live in a nice apartment, but the area where our dining room table is was poorly lit. Actually, it was kind of dark. When we had people over we'd have to turn on every light in the place just to provide some light at the table when eating. I saw this on Amazon and placed the order and I have to say -- problem solved. This tall arching lamp is anchored to a 40 lb. marble base which sits in a corner. It is super sturdy, and the arching pole is extra long and perches right over the center of our table. It's a beautiful looking lamp and provides all the light we need in that space now. Just a perfect solution for us.

I was taking a chance buying a cheap lamp on amazon without seeing it in person, but for the price, I thought what the hell! I was very pleased once assembled. It is very solid and doesn't sag at all. The lampshade is very nice, I actually bought it with the intention of having to replace it, but now I don't have to! It looks great in the living room and casts the perfect light for my needs.The only annoying thing about the lamp is that it's very difficult to adjust. The plastic friction caps that keep the small arm from being too loose are way too tight and you really need to brute-force it to get it to move.

Got this lamp 10/31/23 cause thought it looked pretty based on pics and reviews. But it’s been a nightmare! As I was taking the lamp out of the box, the 30+ pound marble base fell out of the white light foam that it was “secure” with and almost hit my foot and made a hole in my tile. This couldn’t been prevented and there was no warning labels on the box. The repairs cost me $375 and Amazon won’t take ownership and pay for the repairs as this stupid lamp does not come properly wrapped to prevent accidents like this from happening. Additionally, the lamp is so difficult to put together is not even funny. I hate this lamp and still calling Amazon hoping for a refund for my damages

I love this lamp. It looks great and can be moved around, tilted. etc. Here is the reason I didn't give it five stars: 1. The base arrived damaged. It looks like white paint spilled on it or the packing material stuck to it and melted onto it. I have been unable to get it off. 2. I bought this lamp because it is advertised as being adjustable but I was unable to adjust the length of the arm, despite doing everything that was suggested. In the picture above I would like the lamp shade to be higher but it won't allow me to do that,. The instructions are of little help and the diagrams are too tiny. It was hard to know what was being referred to and there were little plastic "collars" that have to be removed but they don't tell you that. I wasted about an hour trying to fit poles together that were prevented from doing so because of what I eventually realised were packing pieces. The instructions were also confusing in that they did not apply to the way my lamp arrived, with some of the work already done. 4. The lampshade is very hard to attach. I ended up weighting the material down with dumbells and attaching it little by little. I always find it strange that people can put together such a good product and then skimp on the instructions as to what to do with it. I put this together myself but it really needs two people. The base is extremely heavy. I'm guessing about 50 pounds. I can't imagine how this could be returned because the packing material (popcorn stuff) has to be pretty much broken up to get at the product.

Lights looks good and serve the purpose. The assemble instructions is not clear. It requires some sort of guessing and try to assemble it. Overall it is a good item and meet expectation.

I find these lamps very cute! I love the marble base and the instructions aren’t that complicated. However the ring for the shade is broken so I had to tape it or hot glue it back together but still sucks. Also we tried to adjust the pole higher because I find like in the photo it’s too low. We tried everything it seem that it won’t budge higher. Can the company maybe at least send me a new ring for the shade part?

Came undamaged, Shade requires assembly, marble base is quite heavy. Takes 45 minutes to assemble.

Was broken when it arrive 3 month after we order big deception will never order again
