These door handles are great. Not only are they easy to install but they look great too.You literally only have to screw in two screws, so easy.My French doors don’t have a locking mechanism in them , so these worked great..I used two of the handles on my French doors, and the other one on my utility room door that does have a locking mechanisms in it.So you can use these for any kind of door!

These look great, nice heavy metal and I love the styling. The latch and strike plate do require some chiseling and enlarging holes - not an instant swap-out for the old. Although they were a bit more work than I expected, they are well-made and it was only the first door that required extensive modification to make it fit. After my original negative review after the first handle, the seller did contact me and offered a refund, which was appreciated but I declined since I am making use of these lovely handles. Overall, if you are prepared to do a little modification to your door, I would recommend these.

They look so nice, high end!

I recently replaced all of my interior doors with these more modern black handles. They turned out super nice and was a cheaper alternative than replacing my doors (which I'd like to do eventually!) Not too difficult to install, please be aware if you have rounded kick plates, these are more square shape and there is some cutting shaping involved. Towards the end, I started to leave up the old kick plates and figured it would be something I'd put more effort into once I replace the doors. However, the handles are so nice, I can at least reuse them with the new doors.

I would have given the quality a 5 however the listing shows rounded door latches and ships with square. In replacing my entire house I had to change all holes to square

I love the way these look on my black doors, it gives what it is suppose to give BUT not all the locks works. Out of the whole set only 2 of the handles will actually lock. If you don't care about the locking feature then go ahead and get these.... but if it matters (that is the whole reason of buying ones with a lock) then I would not recommend.

Installs very easily and within 10 minutes. The black coating is matte and is very attractive.
