An empty castle?
Book is much to short! Glad, I am, for the next book. A mysterious castle, strange animals, a very enjoyable book. Just way too short (means I really liked it)!

Whets your appetite
This was just enough to get me intrigued for the series. It was a quick read (read while waiting for a doctor's appointment and finished when I got home). Can't wait to read the rest.

Mysterious beginnings with hopes of more to come
Tristan and his friends venture to an abandoned castle free for the taking, shrouded in mystery, and surrounded by vicious beasts. They explore the vixicat infested woods to the castle only to find more mysteries inside.Beth is a noble lady betrothed to a man she does not want to wed. She’s curious about the mysterious lands to the north.Warning: Spoiler alert: Sadly, Tristan and Beth don’t meet in this novella. This story is merely the setup of what’s to come in the Castle in the Wilde series. Although it’s a mysterious and fun tale, it doesn’t stand on its own.If you enjoy exploring mysterious lands with danger at each turn, delving into a story world knowing there is much left unexplored but with hints and promises of romance and unfolding to come in future books, check out A Castle Sealed.

A tasty appetizer
A Castle Sealed is one of those short novella's that comes before the main action of a much bigger novel, but does nothing but make you want the bigger novel.Tristan is the youngest son of a Lord and so will inherit no land of his own. But what if he just happens to find a mysterious castle in the Wilde, yes with an E.This story doesn't have much meat to it, it's mostly just fun. Tristan and his friends spend most of it fighting monsters and exploring an abandoned Castle. There are clues that hint at what the main novel is likely to be about, and I'm sure once I read A Castle Awakened, I will enjoy going back through this novella and picking out all the foreshadowing. But for now, I really want to go find an abandoned Castle to explore.*I was given an advanced copy of this book for the purposes of review. All opinions are my own and are willing and honestly given.*

The beginning of a great fantasy
What I enjoyed and liked about this prequel to the Castle in the Wilde Series:• The story drew me in as I was immersed immediately into the journey of Tristan, Cotrell, and James. • The author described emotions and situations vividly and clearly as these three travelers struggled and fought against wild, unexpected beasts.• Adventure, suspense, twists and turns. Giant wolves and vixicats, and a mysterious abandoned castle. What more could you ask of a fantasy adventure?• This was a fun, clean fantasy. The scenes changed quickly. Problems and situations came and went fast.• This was a clean read and I appreciated that.I was given a free copy of this book by the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own. I really enjoyed this prequel and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

A fun loving read.
An exciting adventure into the land of unknown – one group of party obviously belongs to where they are at – having families, homes and royalty but another group arrives into a small town. Asking questions they hear about a sealed castle. After a good nights sleep they venture off to it and find a truly lovely castle with no answers as to why the people having it left and were apparently never coming back. Being the youngest of 5 sons, a Lord, this one had no inheritance – dare he claim it as his own. A whole new adventure begins with wondering can they do it, who would help, what about the strange and wild animals in the nearby woods. And if the original owners came back?

A very good read
So good to find out how Tristan found the Castle in the Wilde, with an 'e'.Whilst you don't need to read it before the trilogy, it's a definite nice to do.
