Very, very tasty! The inclusion of lemon is inspired, and the olive oil is perfect.
The tastiest and most luscious Sardines I've ever tasted! I cannot thank you enough for bringing these to my table, metaphorically speaking. And, of course, even though you may not desire fish very often, they will keep on the shelf for a long time. My favourite fish is mackerel, but I am put off them because they accumulate a lot of mercury through eating many, many tiny fish, over a number of years. Sardines, of course don't live as long so don't accrue very much mercury at all. Or, so I have read...This is one review I have been very happy to write.

Large annoying bones
I wanted King Oscars sardines but it was not available so settled for this below standard brand. Please don't eat this sardines without recooking it. The large bones are truly annoying. I will still have to get into my car and drive 12 miles to get a case of a true classic. This purchase was a waste of time and money.

Not oily inside of the sardines
I spent ages putting in different codes from the tin, box and wrapping, to try and track the route of these sardines. Not one of them would pick up any information. When this is a selling point, it's disappointing not to be able to do this. The sardines themselves are great though. The first tin that I opened, appeared to have a lot of oil in it. However, as soon as I put my fork in a fillet, I noticed how firm and chunky they were. The oil was mostly floating on top. Each piece was a good size and before eating, I checked the drained weight. This turned out to be 64g, 1g more than what they state it should be, which was impressive.The texture was meaty and just right. Although they had been sat in oil and I'd only hooked them out with a fork, rather than patting them down with a tissue, they didn't taste oily at all. I enjoyed mine with rice and I like that I can make a quick meal with them and enjoyed the the health benefits of fish. The second time I ate them, I was just as pleased.

Dry texture. No flavour. Pretty awful.
Tried to return but as its a food item, Amazon wont let me.
