I do a lot of gaming and Youtube stuff. My doctor recommended blue light glasses to me so I thought I would give these glasses a try. They were good. I am going to try other ones in the near future. Got to protect the eyes. You only get one original set. Keep them healthy.

A few months ago I bought a vr headset, and in the settings there was a night mode. I tried it and realized it was the same effect as the blue light glasses I'd heard of and dismissed as a fad. It's been years since I've had trouble sleeping anyway, but I decided to try the setting out whenever I used the headset at night. It took a couple of nights to get used to the yellow tint, then a couple more nights of indifference, but on the fifth night I got really drowsy way earlier than usual, and it felt weird like a sedative. Well I did a bunch of research and it turns out it really is a sedative naturally produced by the body, but sunlight shuts it off during the day. At night, viewing screens through yellow or amber lenses filters out the light that simulates this effect, allowing for release of this natural sedative. I ordered these glasses and started wearing them after dark. It only took a few days to acclimate so that I no longer get suddenly drowsy, but instead much more quickly get a pleasantly relaxed feeling that lasts until I choose to go to sleep. I guess my point is these aren't just for insomniacs.

Not sure if they really work or if we have convinced ourselves that they do, but we sleep better using these when watching late TV or using electronics late

I have used these type of glasses for years, but these are the worst ones I've ever used. They do not work at all. They hurt my eyes within the first 10 minutes of using them every time.
