In 2008 Needak removed the "Classic" rebounder and it's 3 1/4" stiff spring from production and replaced it with the "Hard-bounce" rebounder. Although the conversion to Hard-bounce is a great improvement, some people still find the feel too stiff. Conversion to the Soft-bounce spring may be for you. This conversion kit package replaces the "Classic" spring and jump mat with the new 4 1/2" long Soft-Bounce springs, and a new jump mat with cleats installed. Kit also includes a lube pack. Many older units used a short 7 1/2" long leg. Since the Soft-bounce spring descends closer to the floor, longer legs on the rebounder are necessary. If your rebounder has the shorter 7 1/2" legs, you should consider buying our 8 1/2" legs (shown in the photo). A special discount offer on legs will be shown during checkout as a reminder. The photo also shows clevis pins. If your pins are worn, this is the perfect time to replace them. A discount will also be offered on clevis pins. Non-Needak Units should consider possible differences in frame attachment and mat size. Requires 36 springs attaching to 18 points on the 30 1/2" jump mat. Springs attaching directly into the frame rather than to a clevis pin may stretch excessively.
